Fricanoe. I thought the phrase was sell ice cubes to an eskimo, anyway. Any potato farms left on Long Island? You mean eskimoe. I am told there are some, but I haven't actually seen them. Used to be big business until the pesticides got into the groundwater, and the property prices went skyhigh. We were the Idaho of the east. There is a zone between the urbanization out west and vinification out east where farmers can still afford to grow things. Sod farms seem to be more profitable than food farms though.

So Kuzma and Simpson get on the 30 under 30 list. Great to see ex badgers making a name for themselves.

Also Morey gets on the US Collegiate National Team heading to China in June. Not sure what this really means as there are lots of teams heading in different directions this year.

Bo gets most of the guys that he wants and does well with them, but I am thrilled that Sheffield is doing better with getting top recruits. Let's be honest, this is probably it for Wisconsin being at this level in men's basketball for a while. The recruiting classes for this year and next are full of guys who will probably need time to develop.

Yep...that is probably true. Then again, who knew with Kaminski?

Yep...that is probably true. Then again, who knew with Kaminski? No one. Apparently, Egwu was their top target, and they went with Kaminsky after he went with Illinois. The first three years at Wisconsin didn't indicate this for Kaminsky, but, to his credit, he kept working and improved a ton.

Morales made a tv fan shot. Behind the bench I think. She's the one dating Kaminsky, right?

Saw her too, at the very end of the game. Near Frank's Mother behind the bench, bawling with happiness. Now she knows how she made us feel a couple years ago.

Sheff could sell potatoes to a farmer. That's what he does and he is very good at it. He is going to put some very talented teams together very quickly. He is going to put some talented teams together really quickly? Another bold prediction given he already has. I should note you don't know him. Never met him. Never talked to anyone he has ever recruited. What is it with you? Do you think you need to be on a first name basis to notice a coach with special talent. I've seen how he coaches and I see how he recruits. He is getting to be a damn good coach and he isn't going away.

This feels like last year's final four in vb! In China, 4 is an unlucky number. Good thing it isn't here! And it's also Frank's birthday, #44. So this is volleyball-related, Sheffield was at the game. The Vball team victory was more surprising, and comprehensive. I had the badgers winning this game tonight. Still, an amazing game.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day. I just hope I can get home from work and get my car parked without too much hassle. Sadly, a loss would probably help that happen much easier than a win.
