Why do that when the NCAA just sticks them in the same regional every postseason anyway? just in case

Dear Nebraska Y U NO COME TO HAWAII. Always nice hearing from Cookie Monster. LOL. Sorry. But is there really a reason Hawaii hardly sees the top b1g teams come down. Nebraska hasn't come down since 2006 and I believe PSU hasn't come down since 08. I don't think wisconsin has ever come down, and neither has minnesota. I wouldn't mind seeing teams from the b1g come down more often, especially nebraska

They love going there, they don't like doing it in season for the same reason Hawaii doesn't like to go to the mainland in season. They give up a ton of revenue.

A Pre-season Tournament like the one Texas attended back in 2013 would be the best way for teams like Nebraska to go to Hawaii. That tournament included 3 top 20 teams (Hawaii, Texas, San Diego) and one easy win. They got good RPI wins and a nice location for fans that traveled and was before start of Football.

Again, that is giving up around 1/4 million dollars in revenue. They already play Texas and have probably have at least 12-15 top 25 matches built into their schedule. It's a great trip, and an amazing place to play, its just far, and its an expensive trip, plus a huge loss in revenue. I see no scenario in which they would go and play there.

I understand what you are saying and agree, but Nebraska usually travels to one tournament in pre-season every year (2014 Dayton, 2013 St Louis, 2012 Irvine, etc.) so you still think there is no scenario to schedule that one away tournament as a tournament in Hawaii?
My point is they are not losing revenue because they have scheduled an away tournament the past 4 years already; the only factor would be the cost would be much higher to attend a tournament in Hawaii verses a tournament in Dayton or St. Louis.

They do always travel once prior to Big season, it allows frosh to get the routine of travel down. Hawaii is really, really far, and I know coaches worry about the next week when the travel and time can catch up to you. Those programs have a good relationship and Nebraska has been travelling there for years in the spring, just dont see that ever happening in the fall.
