Nebraska seemed to change their line-up quite a bit. Were they following a different set of rules? They were the only opponent that did this. Anyone know why? Within the 'guidelines'; Coaches can move players/pairs one position up or down from one event to another. Per AVCA: "Coaches are responsible to position their teams in order of ability for ALL matches from the first match of the season to the last match of the season".

Looking at the records, 3 teams were locked in for the year so there really wasn't that much lineup juggling. Really just two slots where they tried different combos.

The NCAA "rule" (not guideline) is that players or pairs may be moved up and down one position. The AVCA guidelines are basically meaningless. I guess they can use the guidelines toward bids for their year end tournament this year, but the NCAA will determine national bids in the future. Like indoors, AVCA will have very little influence on Sand rules now that it is a NCAA championship sport.
