It really shouldn't be that hard to bump set a good ball to the pins. Plenty of tall players can do it. Just calming down and thinking and feeling what your body is doing, and focusing on how to get the desired result. When I would make a mistake bump setting I would think about what I was doing with my body mechanics that caused the mistake right after and then make sure I tried not to do it next time. But i'm more used to it cuz I like playing doubles.
