Here's the roster for this weekend! www.teamusa.org/USA-Volleyball/Features/2015/July/02/US-Women-Open-FIVB-World-Grand-Prix-in-TurkeyOH: Kim Hill, Kelsey Robinson, Megan Hodge/Easy, Krista Vansant OPP: Karsta Lowe, Nicole Fawcett MH: Tori Dixon, Curtsy Jackson, Lauren Paolini, Lauren Gibbemeyer Setters: Molly Kreklow, Courtney Thompson Liberos: Kayla Banwarth, Tama Miyashiro Is it wrong to suspect that Nicole Davis is no longer in strong contention for a Rio spot? She didn't play in any of the matches against China.

Saw Germany vs. Russia live. Both teams were extremely sloppy. Pretty ugly game. Then China absolutely destroyed Dominican Republic. DR looked like a high school team, while China played pretty flawlessly.

We're guaranteed a spot in the six-team final round, so I think we'll see lots of different faces through the intercontinental weekends. I don't know how much evaluation of young talent is necessary in the year before the Olympics, but what do I know. More like we need to save the legs of our vets, who've had long seasons and need to be well-rested for both the WGP finals at home and the World Cup in August. You meant July ...
