Yea, it's sure to happen again. [br Wisconsin and Minnesota are not Nebraska The Nebraska name is bigger then both those together. I'd be shocked if Nebraska and psu were in same region especially since Nebraska is hosting. As far as psu, I expect them to lose some early until they adjust their lineup to where it needs to be. Without even knowing how the season will unfold, my gut already tells me that Nebraska will be sent to the Austin regional, just as Texas was sent to Nebraska's regional in 2009 & 2013. Some super talented Husker teams have gone down in Gregory Gym back in the old Big 12 days, and to much less talented Texas teams than the 2015 version. Yes, that would mean that either UT or NU is not a top 4 national seed.

It's hard to pick against Penn State. Until someone beats them, they are the team to beat.

If I remember right a lot thought last year was gonna be off year until freshman had year underbelt and the loss of slay Scott and McClendon. Didn't seen to stop them. I think again with new setter and Libero be down year but I guess a down year now for psu is losing more then a game or two

I would say that Nebraska penn state is a slightly less likely regional match up because they are in the same conference. If penn state and Nebraska are one and two in the conference, I think they likely to be placed in different regions but not necessarily. Avoided conference match ups, regardless of placement within the conference is NOT a criteria of seeding (unfortunately). Just this past year you had PSU and Wisconsin in the same regional, in 2013 Washington with USC and Missouri with Florida, 2010 Stanford with USC, Texas and Nebraska (back when they were in the Big 12), along with Iowa State, who finished 3rd.... Hell in 2011 we actually had the Big 10 #1 (Nebraska) and the Pac-12 #1 (USC) in the same regional!....It's clear that top level intra-conference matchups CAN be avoided until the final four, but the committee surely does not do this.

ur automatically predicting she'll be good and she'll be starting? if I were you I'd be worried about her chronic back injury which held her back in 2014. obviously it's not 100% since she didn't even participate in the scrimmage. Isn't "predicting' what we're all doing right now? I mean, who's to say Haleigh Washington doesn't encounter the same injury she faced last season? predict all you want but I think the predictions would have a little more credibility once they've actually played a game.

Volleytalk chose Nebraska and Texas to get to the finals on August 28.
Southern Cal and Minnesota were after thoughts.
