Betsi & Kelley are both solid and easily deserve Rookies of the year. They have shown the steady improvement you would expect after only partnering for a few months.
Granted the competition level at the last two AVP venues was a bit diluted, it is what you are going to see in the near future.
Betsi is one of my favorite players. She is relentless, smart, has a bag of shots, and is in your face tuff. She and Kelley are getting good coaching from the USAV coaches and have more upside.
I have watched both play on the college level the past few years and they are athletic and fun to watch. Kelley has good blocking instincts and can terminate.

MVP - Ryan Doherty. There was so much parity on the men's side that its hard to pick any one winner and I don't even think Ryan improved that much from last year.
Team of the Year - I think Gibb/Patterson, Tri/John and Ryan/John all had basically the same season and I am refusing to pick one because they all suck.
Rookie is Taylor. Two thirds cinches it.

Saving this one. Not agreeing or disagreeing, but saving this quote. Just kinda has a ring to it.
