UNI is in a bit of a rebuilding year, at least early in the season. New setter, and a young team (3 true freshmen were in the main rotation last weekend) but it's possible that things could start clicking and they might give some teams a run for their money.
Will be a bit of a homecoming of sorts for two of Kentucky's middle blockers: Kaz Brown (who is leading the Wildcats in kills and blocks so far this season) and Brooke Morgan (4th in kills), who both went to high school in the area and played their club ball with some of UNI's players.

What year does the tournament come to L.A. ? Not sure. Last year was at Kentucky, this year at UNI. So that would mean either 2016 in LA and 2017 in Omaha, or vice versa. Maybe I'll ask one of our coaches or DVO to see if they know.

Kentucky beats UNI 3-1 (-20 25-27 -19 -20)
Panthers struggled on serve receive and had trouble with UK's tall block. UNI's young team (three true freshmen and no seniors in the main rotation) definitely has some growing/learning to do but they could get it going as the season progresses.

Creighton sweeps Kentucky (23 17 18). That surprises me.
