Merrimec's team was eliminated ten years ago now as a budget issue. Sports in the STL CC system were limited to one campus only. Flo Valley got volleyball. The most recent coach--thought this had been his first season. Tough place to recruit--near the rioting, crappy gym, limited admin support. On the bright side, as a NJCAA D-2 program in Missouri, if you get your act together it is an easy path to the National Tournament. They actually moved from flo valley to Meramac last year...my understanding is that this is filled Geoff Davis- (H2 club). I didn't realize they'd moved it--better gym at Meramec for sure. |

Charleston Southern University, a member of the Division 1 Big South Conference, is seeking applicants for a women’s volleyball part-time second assistant position. This is a ten-month position beginning August 2016 paying a $12,000 stipend. This person will be responsible for assisting the head coach and assistant coach in the areas not limited to: recruitment, training sessions, matches, travel planning and management, community outreach, and other operations.

Northwest Nazarene University is currently looking for an assistant coach. The person I thought was going to be our assistant coach this fall has decided to take another job so I am looking for someone to take his place. Practice starts August 15!!!
We are a NCAA Division 2 school located in Nampa, ID which is a suburb of Boise. This is a great place to start a coaching career and learn to do everything; training, recruiting, scouting, academics, travel, camps. It is all here, you will live in a great city, work with good people and travel to awesome places. You will have a huge hand in everything we do. It is a part time job with a salary of $14,000. There is the ability to supplement it by coaching more volleyball and cost of living in the Nampa / Boise area is inexpensive.
