Mango getting a nice salary bump from old place although that doesn't take much. Told range is high 50's to low 60's with camp and such. She recruited good players on penny's while holding 4 other hats. Having only VB to worry about now I expect her to keep them in the top of the east. Worry factor- new AD. Not the best record of support at ESU. Wish her the best

Best of Luck to Shannon. Not fighting the likes of Wheeling directly, but still a tough battle in the PSAC.

Western Wyoming Community College is looking for an assistant coach. The position includes a stipend, room, and board.
WWCC is a top DI JUCO in the country both on the court and academically. Within the past 5 seasons, we have placed as high as 2nd and 3rd at the national tournament. We have also been awarded 8 straight AVCA Academic Awards. We were recently recognized as having the 9th best team GPA out of the over 300 NJCAA volleyball teams in the country.
For this position, we are looking for a driven individual who wants to be involved in all aspects of the program including in-match coaching, recruiting, practice planning and development, and positional training.
If interested, please email me, Justin Hoskins, at jhoskins@westernwyoming.edu. We are looking to fill this position quickly as practices begin 8/1!

Any update on any of the open D1 assistant positions? Wofford, Winthrop, UNLV, Darthmouth, W&M, Akron, Mercer, Presbyterian? Mercer has hired young mango from high school/club ranks who played D1.

Salary under 20k unless you can teach, 20-30 if you can teach gym or other classes. Not to mention terrible administrative support, facilities, and no chance at success. Definitely a starter job and probably not one I would even suggest to my worst enemy! I hear they had a professor coach the men's team this last season cause they couldn't find anyone..... Rough spot for sure

Ok I will bite on this as this job is not that bad, and I have a very personal connection to this program. Yes It will take someone with some energy, creative marketing/recruiting and hard working attitude. It will take a few years to turn it back around as it is not that far off from a 19-12 season and top half in the conference. It is a starter job and there is money to give along with academic money, and a JV team can help if willing to recruit...a lot. Also, if you are willing to run both programs you can make enough, but 20-30K in Hannibal can be lived on. A job is a job and what a great learning experience to be in a conference with some of the best teams in NAIA. It is a challenge, but the challenge in sports is what makes it gratifying.
