I am afraid we will see the 6-2. Weske hangs in there. And they have Smith, Scully, Botkin, Hammons, Owes, and Schirmer all to work in. Airial might be injured. But she is undersized. Will she really be a MB? I think they go with a 6-2 as well. The question to me becomes if Scully or Hammons becomes the libero? If not, who goes to opposite out of these two or Botkin?

I would guess Hastings stays at libero. Scully or Hammons could fill the OH2 role. Honestly, all the USC pins were horrible in serve receive last season so both of these transfers should get plenty of playing time.

I think Hastings started out the season solidly. Maybe Theriot had injuries to begin. Then it flip flopped. Idk last season was a covid blur. Someone can correct me.

I expect Scully, Theriot and Hastings to compete at libero with the best passer winning the job.

USC will be much better than this spring. But do they have enough offense to be top 3 in the PAC?

I think the talent is there; to me the question is whether the players buy into the coach’s philosophy and each other. If they do that I think they can push for a top three spot.

.................................the question is whether the players buy into the coach’s philosophy and each other. Does USC really need a crouch part 2? USC will be a 7 team in the Pac-12 race. W, WSU, UCLA, Oregon, Utah and Stanford are better By seasons end: 1) UCLA 2) Washington tie 2) Stanford 4) Oregon 5) USC 6) WSU 7) Utah tournament teams above 8) Colorado 9) ASU 10) UA 11) OSU 12) Cal

Seems like WSU is being underrated. I expect them to be better than Oregon who, although good, I don't anticipate being much better than last season. Oregon's offense has a ceiling

Oregon's offense has a ceiling Reagan Hope will give Oregon more options offensively. WSU has a nice group of starters but very little depth - there is one Opp on the roster and she's a true freshman. McComber struggled at libero and now she's gone. If Tusa plays libero will Dalton play 6-ros? Will her passing hold up? The Cougars have more questions to answer than Washington, Oregon or UCLA.

Magda has experience at OPP and can play there if needed and I think pukis is VASTLY underrated

WSU’s strength was its block/defense and Lusby is a big loss to that already. WSU will still be good, but they'll have weaknesses.

Seems like WSU is being underrated. WSU is underrated I don't know, they sure didn't look great down the stretch there. If they're to be a top 3 pac team they should have beatn AZ, Utah and WK down the stretch when it counted.

They got hit by COVID and injuries hard late in the season. They looked horrible until Greeny switched back to the original lineup in the third set against WK.
