I thought so too but she’s listed as an OH. I wouldn't read too much into that. Scully isn't a great LB defender but she is a good passer. If Hastings isn't consistent, I'd expect to see Scully at libero. I'm confused. You wrote that it is the plan for Scully to play libero. Now you're writing something significantly different. Is it the plan or the fallback plan?

The player that finished the spring as libero is no longer on the roster. The plan was for Scully to play libero. But as the philosopher Tyson once said, "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth." And anything can change when players get in the gym, especially with passers. As I'm sure you know.

I will be really surprised if Scully doesn't prove to be a better 6-rotation option than Hammons.

I will be really surprised if Scully doesn't prove to be a better 6-rotation option than Hammons. Hastings had a lot of hype coming in. If she can live up to the billing, her at L with Scully/Botkin OH could be their best potential lineup. Though with Owes too, there's options. I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few changes/experimentation with the pins and setting early in the season. Hopefully it settles its way out. At least the ball control will be better no matter what.

I will be really surprised if Scully doesn't prove to be a better 6-rotation option than Hammons. I think this is already a given. Hammons might be the most overrated player on this forum. I doubt she sees playing time as anything other than a DS.

I doubt she sees playing time as anything other than a DS. I don’t feel like I’ve seen her talked about much in any context other than ball control, which was statistically among the best of any player in the country in 2019 when she last played a significant role. Where is she being overrated?
