Olgard had a very strong senior year. I wish she had developed sooner over the course of her college career. Maybe injuries or illness held her back. I recall that regional final against Pepperdine in 2011. I want to say that Alexis had a swing to put the 2nd game away but she just looked slow and tired. USC ended up in a really long drawn out 5 game match (after having gone to 5 w/ Hawaii the previous match). I feel like those back-to-back five gamers really hurt USC's chances in the Final Four when they took on Illinois. Anyhow Jupiter, Williams, Bricio, and Ogoms really reached a new level during their senior year. I hope USC's current crop bucks that trend and they make big improvements sooner rather than later.

let's take a wild guess...ay2013 is upset because Olgard (originally from Spokane) chose not to go to Washington.... Not really. UW has a winning record against USC with Olgard on the team, I think the UW middles were just fine. Though Barfield, as a top recruit, ended up being a dud. Like I said, I call it like I see it. I think Ay is pretty reasonable for the most part. I think he could spend more time taking a crap on Pac 12 rival Stanford though. Their program gets a ton of great players that enter in as freshmen all polished and fully formed but don't really improve much afterwards. And also we'll see about Oregon. They've been getting tons of talent lately but I'm suspect on their coaching.

Ay is dishonest. He constantly downplays USC players and claims he is supports USC because they are in the Pac-12. The guy is almost as full of crap as the three Husky bragging bozos.

They've never gotten a top 10 recruit (Ronika Stone will be their first this year) and have still faired pretty well in the pac 12 recently. Brenner was ranked in the 20's coming in to Oregon, and she was a two-time all american, Plum was ranked in the 30's and she ended up being a first team all american, Bergsma (although not originally an Oregon recruit) was ranked in the 60's or 70's and was a two-time AA and won NPOY, and Newcombe wasn't ranked coming out of high school and also had an all-american career. I also think Vander-Weide is on her way to becoming a beast for Oregon.

Not that I care about your approval, nor should the other husky posters you are supposedly referring to, but I fail to see how supporting the Pac-12 and pointing out what I see as realities of SOME of USC players, is being dishonest? Do you even know the meaning of that word? I do support the Pac-12, and USC, but I'm going to call a spade a spade. Just like I called out barfield, and most of last year was very critical of strickland and UW's setting...does that somehow mean that I don't support the huskies? (rolls eyes). Or are you arguing that anyone that professes support or allegiance is vowed to never say anything that could be conceived as negative (regardless of the truth)? again, (rolls eyes).

All your comments about UW players belong on another thread. I haven't visited this website for months. I get excited about the thread title and end up seeing a bunch of useless posts by you putting down former USC players. This should be about USC's future. You and the bozos crapping on threads is one the reasons I visit here less and less.

On a scale from 0-100, your motivation for posting or not posting influences my posts, is about a -1.

I will try to get past the troll. I expect Weindel will be good for coaching and teaching contemporary technique. I don't know how he will do as a recruiter. Mick still has energy to do most of the legwork for recruiting.

and yet Ay...you still feel the need to keep posting on a thread of a rival school... I'm not understanding your point. Are you saying that as a USC fan, you have never posted in a UCLA, Stanford, or Washington thread? You do know that your volleytalk history is available for anyone to see right? I'd think twice before posting hypocritical statements.

I honestly don't care what your views are. It doesn't stop me from doing anything on here. I'm not the one that said that someone else's posts are a reason why I don't post. Can we at least agree on that? Not a very smart retort, frankly.
