LOL, trojansc has done their homework! I was wondering who would be first to grab mid-major stat stuffers. Wish LOL here. Disappointed to see the league opened it up to mid-majors, all DI. trojansc will run away with it if remainder of his picks follow suit. It'll be like comparing NFL stats to Canadian football league stats I guarantee if I picked Nikki Taylor, nobody would have batted an eye. She is also a great pin hitter that will put up good numbers. But, then you consider the MVC sent more teams to the NCAA's than the Big West.... Ignorance at its finest. I think a little more credit is deserved to Lily Johnson. She would start in the top-5 conferences too. Trust me. And sometimes it's even easier when you're not the "go-to girl" you get more open looks and you are less scouted.

I don't doubt Johnson, like many others in non-Power 5 conferences, wouldn't start and excel with a Power 5 team. But how would "excel" be defined there - what would her excellent stats look like in a Power 5 conference? Unlikely she racks up the same kind of stats there given the level of competition, more likely equivalent to stats of other great OHs on Power 5 teams. Being a stat stuffer doesn't mean she's not an excellent talent, on the same level as an elite OH on a Power 5 team. It means she is really talented and will punish the competition, to your advantage in this fantasy league.
