Yup, keep setting Stevanovic on the slide when your blocker is Kosheleva.
Kosheleva is a fantastic slide blocker.
Now Russia is up 12-11

Rossiya -09-22-21 Srbija Russia got psyched out, and then they psyched themselves out even more. Russia looks like they needed somebody singing Kumbaia. When their mood goes down, they don't have any bubbly, happy people. Serbia consist entirely of bubbly, happy people I guarantee USA will smile more than Russia did.

Man. Serbia and Russia are probably on my top 3 favorite teams. Russia has been looking not like its European Championship self since the Final Round of the WGP. It sucks for Kosheleva and Goncharova. They really need to diversify their attacks.

I wonder who Russia's new coach is gonna be?
But in all fairness, Serbia completely outplayed Russia in every facet of the game.

Are you saying that the Russians needed a cheerleader on the bench?

Russia finishes 5th at the last two Olympics and at the last World Championship as well. No medals. Serbia is taking over as the best team in Europe. Russia even finished 4th in the 2015 World Cup!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the end of that 3rd set, Goncharova was in the bench right together with Pankova?
What a wrong move by Marichev in putting your best player and best setter off the court during the most crucial time of the match.

When the double sub was put in, that ended up being 5 of the 6 substitutions

Marichev stuck with his setter too long. And what was he thinking leaving #16 Voronkova in the back row? She got in the way, she shanked, she froze and got tagged in the face, Horrendous performance by Russia today.
