I won't be easy, but I think it will be USA vs. China in the final, with USA finishing it out

The US is a heavy, heavy favorite now. Heavy, heavy favorite? Nah... The USA is going to have a hell of a match against Boskovic and Mihajlovic... China took a set off the US already and Netherlands took two.

Much higher stakes than pool play. It will be exciting to see these matches.

If USA takes care of Serbia, which won't be easy of course, I think the USA has a strong chance for that Gold Medal.

Maybe USA should be the favorite, but the margin is slim IMO. For example, in the China/USA match, China's attack was impressive when their passing didn't break down. So, a little improvement overall in their passing and I could see them beating the USA.

Glass determines how far we go. Glass and Hill. We are pretty good when they're on.

I'm more worried about all the Karch psychophants who'll go on an insufferable tear the next four years after USA wins this Gold.

I'm more worried about all the Karch psychophants who'll go on an insufferable tear the next four years after USA wins this Gold. Why would it matter? If the goal is to win Gold at the Olympics, and Karch coached the team to Gold, then the goal was met. Something all the other Women's teams failed to do. So you could say that his method worked. Hopefully we win Gold!

Hopefully we win Gold! It would matter to kokyu, because he's been attacking every decision Karch has made in the last four years. Kind of embarrassing for him if the US ends up winning gold.
