Remember when Dietzen played through a painful surgically repaired knee to win World Champs Gold and played lights out during China

Could Hill have just made a more devastating critique of KK's coaching decisions? A lament for set 5.

Sometimes and injury can seem more serious in the moment, than after the doctors etc have fully checked it out. Still.... biggest match possible.... Don't you think you try to play through it? I'm not even sure I saw any coach asking her if she can continue. I know. I would ask for my knee to be wrapped up and play til my knee falls off. But hey, I'm not her. So who knows. Maybe she was concerned.

I believe this about work and the people I work with. The best people are the ones that are able to figure out a way to get things done. Great people are good at many things.
The reliance of Karch on his "system" no matter what just astounds me. Murphy has been a net zero/net negative performer almost the entire tournament. WTF

It has been a long tournament. Larson looks a 1/2 step slow.

I'm not even sure I saw any coach asking her if she can continue. She did try to play through it, at the start of G2. She could not. Any training staff would put her through protocols, and keep her out until medical scans or post-swelling eval is performed later that night or the next day. Failure to do that is probably unethical. 2 days is maybe enough to verify that it's only a moderate injury (if it is). 20 minutes isn't. Were you at the match, in the stadium, courtside, watching her staff non-stop instead of the action? Or are you commenting based on the snippets of stream coverage, which showed only her upper half supine? (N.B. the stream coverage does not suffice to disprove that Akinradewo with her shoes off is secretly a mermaid)

I hate to think that KK was so confident of the win that he held Foluke out to make sure she would be fine for today...how can she be moving so well in such a short period of time.

Could Hill have just made a more devastating critique of KK's coaching decisions? A lament for set 5. Whatever the case is, KK should have seen Robinson's face who was on the verge of a mental breakdown, period.
