Here's my bracket if the season ended today. Cincy Purdue ETSU 16 Kentucky Cleveland St. Pitt Miami (OH) 15 Michigan My main criticisms to your very well thought out brackets are that the 15th and 16th seeds have among the easiest groups. I would consider moving Penn State to Kentucky and send Purdue to Washington. #7 Florida has a very tough group compared to #15 Michigan's and #16 Kentucky's. The nature of having to have the fewest fly-ins as possible. Penn State going to Kentucky would automatically increase the # of fly-ins. Penn State would most likely have to go to either Stanford, Washington, or UCLA. San Diego or BYU would make those subs much harder with already having USC and Utah. Kentucky, UNC & Missouri are already locked in with drive-in only - and we have to find fly-in spots for Oregon and Arizona with few options available.

Penn St. can't go to Kentucky given the travel restrictions in place. Additionally, going by RPI (which the committee does) Purdue isn't an easier match than Penn St. Florida may seem to get a difficult fly-in, but considering PAC-12 fly-ins are needed for WI/MN, KS, and Florida, it makes sense to put the most highest-ranked PAC flyer with the lowest seeded team.

As you and Bluepenguin have described, the travel restrictions make it even more complicated than I realized. I do like your Missouri group with Creighton. It would work with the same teams if Creighton somehow hosts instead of Missouri. Edit to add: Then again, it wouldn't work because Murray State would have too far to drive.
