Waiting for confirmation but rumor is that 2 LBSU girls have already visited schools and made commitments. A third player has made a visit and could make a commitment this week. Just rumors. Waiting for confirmation. As long as BG is there the girls will keep leaving.

Most transfers happen because of lack of playing time and I am sure the majority of LBSU's transfers fall in that category. Transferring has become too frequent across the nation and the numbers seem to increase every year. Wish all the ladies leaving the program the best and I hope LBSU brings in some great new recruits.

Why would 2 starters leave LBSU? IMO, if this team would have stayed together and added a replacement for Barber, they could have been really good. I know it is going to be hard to replace Barber but they would have had everyone else back. This all seems strange??

Curious about the extent of "exodus." They have a fair number of young players with little/no playing time, the assistant coach who recruited most of them is gone, and their star setter just graduated. Would be surprised if the rising seniors (Gibson, Alexander, Thompson) would bail before their last year ... but could obviously be wrong. Plus, Crow and Brashear bailed last year. Crow and Brashear are two different stories. Brashear wasn't asked back. And now two of their big guns are already out looking for new homes. The Asst that left had nothing to do with the recruitment of one of the new transfers and definitely didn't recruit Crow and Brashear. Didn't Shannon Wells, Florida's current assistant coach, recruit Crow to Ole Miss? I remember that being stated on the broadcast when Florida played Mizzou this year. Not that it matters at this point but I also believe there's an Ole Miss bio on Wells stating she recruited that entire class that included Crow.

The class (per Rich Kern) was Edie (senior), Crow (transfer), Brashear (transfer), Bakima (JC transfer who graduated), Eggert (transfer), Beaty (apparently quit vb?), and Fisher (JC transfer). Good class on paper, did not pan out as planned. To be fair, though, this was the last class for Getzin before he was fired and McRoberts came in. Will be interesting to see which two starters will be leaving OM.

That may be a reason for some schools, but at LB no one is happy. So you can't just keep saying it's lack of playing time when the girls go somewhere else and actually play. That's not it. They only want beach players now. If you don't play beach, you don't play indoor.

Mykah Wilson (LBSU) and Lexi MacLean (Arizona State) to TCU. Funny how most of their TAV team has now transferred back to the state of Texas and the Big 12. Anna Walsh and Aniah Philo last year, and now Mykah and Lexi. Just leaves Kylie Pickrell at Arizona State and Bri Burkert at Florida State...and wouldn't be surprised to see Kylie leave Arizona State, too. Caya and Morgan are still at Texas obviously. Can't remember who else was on that TAV team off the top of my head.

Mykah Wilson (LBSU) and Lexi MacLean (Arizona State) to TCU. Dang it. Was kind of hoping Texas would pick up Wilson. We need a solid passer now that Daltons graduating.

Mykah Wilson (LBSU) and Lexi MacLean (Arizona State) to TCU. Is this for the spring, or transferring in fall? Indoor or Beach or both?

Wilson is leaving LBSU at the semester for TCU. Just heard this today. Setter Missy Owens has committed to Texas Tech and is leaving LBSU at the semester too.

LBSU does not require beach play for indoors that is just ridicules. Murray is one of the stars on the team and she does not play beach. Some players like to play both and LBSU offers both.
Happy Wilson found someplace closer to home. She is a quality player and very team orientated so sad to see her go.
