Several players leaving LBSU. Stand by!!! Yep, the annual Winter migration out of Long Beach has begun. How does this happen every year ? But what I don't understand is how some coaches keep their jobs while they have kids coming and going every year ?

January transfers seem complicated. The program on the receiving end of incoming transfer has to either have not been at 12 scholarships in the Fall, have a scholarship player graduate in December and not return for the Spring semester, or have a scholarship player of their own transfer out of their program after the Fall semester.
Maybe it's the same after the Spring semester, but I imagine the end of Spring is when most coaches provide their player evaluations and discuss the future of said player.

If a school wants a transfer they will find a way. Ask Texas and how they got Ebony.

If a school wants a transfer they will find a way. Ask Texas and how they got Ebony. She got her release after spring, contacted some B1G schools and Texas and choose Texas because it was close to home. Wasn't a big mystery.

Come on folks, transfers are at an all time high because these young ladies commit in the 8th and 9th grades now, before many of them have even seen the schools that they are going to let along been on an official visit. Picking on any specific school is kind of stupid and a bit unfair. Hell, the entire ASU team wants to leave because the coach got canned....talk about bleeding. LBS has about 4 knocking on the door to come in and several leaving, mostly of their own accord although at least two are leaving due to the fact that they showed up on day 1 injured and never told the coach or the trainers of their pre-existing medical problems. Many schools have these issues. Hell, I have seen PSU stack em in like cord wood and then he just boots em out the door after they never see any playing time except for practice.....tell you what, you make these kids sit a year, no matter what, and the transferring and early commit crap will be curtailed big time!!
