Usually not going to be anything official in most cases until the new school announces the transfer. The previous school usually isn't going to do a press release about a player leaving their program. Basic public relations 101.

Yes, but the student athlete has the ability to appeal that decision.

Not all of these kids are starting but clearly the Sweet 16 teams readily take advantage of the transfer market and the redshirt rules.

He has "Cooper, LSU to Nebraska" on the list. Probably meant Holman, since there is no one named "Cooper" on the Nebraska roster.

They usually don't win the appeal on interconference transfers. Out-of-conference transfers (no matter how close by), the chances are significantly better.
