Why would you be surprised? My guess was who would be the top ten finishers. You do underdtand that I dont call the shots on the seedings which is what these are. Why didnt your adversity black team get seeded as you indicated? Adversity Black is the 4 seed and Purple is the 10 seed

Why did they switch Adversity Black and Adversity Purple? From my understandings Adversity Purple is the top team and were originally seeded #4 until they switched.

Stronger season thus far....yes Purple has great potential based on their personnel but Black has a better track record of success.

Any news on the tournament? Been following the scores on AES and haven't seen anything noteworthy.

Just looking at 18's, some big upsets.
Pool #4, SPVB Tornado knocks off Adversity Black and takes over the overall #4 seed. Loser of Adversity Blk and WVA Nightmares will be knocked out of Gold Pool #12, Aspire 18 Rox takes over the overall #12 seed (was third seed in the pool) Pool #14, CUVC (4th in pool) takes over the overall #14 seed. Either MVC or HPSTL Orange will be knocked out of Gold contention when they play each other.

Aspire was totally underseeded (2nd in 17 club last summer and won the Arizona Refion power league). Carolina Union has James Hartley who is the best sophomore in the nation. And the fact that SPRI 18-4s are the #4 seed in the whole tournament now is just ridiculous.

These are my predictions for 17s tomorrow:
Pool 1 #1 HBC - 1st #16 HPSTL Orange - 3rd #17 Pipeline Black - 4th #29 Momentum - 2nd
Pool 2 #2 Ultimate - 1st #15 Chicago Bounce - 2nd #18 Warren Sixpack - 3rd #30 Cinci Attack - 4th
Pool 3 #3 HPSTL Royal - 1st #14 MVC - 2nd #19 Orlando Gold - 3rd #27 LIVBC National Blue - 4th
Pool 4 #4 Durham Attack - 1st #13 MVP Fire - 2nd #20 Bay to Bay - 3rd #28 Hitmen - 4th
Pool 5 #5 Pakmen - 1st #12 Pac6 - 3rd #21 Southport - 2nd #25 WVA Nightmares - 4th
Pool 6 #6 LIVBC National Gold - 1st #11 Coastal - 2nd #22 Pipeline UA - 3rd #26 Vanguard - 4th
Pool 7 #7 AZ Fear - 1st #10 Baja - 2nd #23 Vegas United - 3rd
Pool 8 #8 HVA - 1st #9 BRYC - 2nd #24 Milwaukee Sting - 3rd
Cross Matches #7 AZ Fear (AZ Fear wins) #8 HVA
#9 BRYC (BRYC wins) #23 Vegas United
#10 Baja (Baja wins) #24 Milwaukee Sting
Challenge Brackets #1 HBC (HBC wins) #15 Chicago Bounce
#2 Ultimate (Ultimate wins) #16 Momentum
#3 HPSTL Royal (HPSTL wins) #13 MVP Fire
#4 Durham Attack (Durham Attack wins) #14 MVC
#5 Pakmen #11 Coastal (Coastal wins)
#6 LIVBC National Gold (LIVBC wins) #12 Southport
#7 AZ Fear (AZ Fear wins) #9 BRYC
#8 HVA (HVA wins) #10 Baja
This would set up the gold bracket to be HBC vs. HVA, Ultimate vs. Arizona Fear, HPSTL vs. LIVBC, and Durham Attack vs. Coastal. Because Durham is planning on declining their bid, six of the remaining seven teams in the gold bracket would get bids. I think Coastal would be the odd man out. Therefore, I predict the bids will be HBC, Ultimate, HPSTL, LIVBC, Arizona Fear and Houston Performance. MVC would probably beat Houston Performance, but because of seeding I don't think MVC will get a bid.

If you think MVC would beat StLHP, then they would move to overall #3 seed and play 2nd place from pool 4 in the crossover matches for gold brit.

Wow! There've been a few minor upsets in Chicago, although some may or may not consider them to be upsets. I expect more upsets, especially with the amount of high-caliber of teams playing.

Wow! There've been a few minor upsets in Chicago, although some may or may not consider them to be upsets. I expect more upsets, especially with the amount of high-caliber of teams playing. And they have already started in 18's. Three 1 seeds in their pools have already lost to 3 seeds; Bay to Bay, Ultimate Gold and Hitmen. Could be a wild day; would not be surprised to see a few one game playoffs to stay in contention.
