I guess I didn't realize Colorado had an International date line. Either that or I'm getting home a day later than I thought I was. Ah, ummm -- well, I was using one of the fingers on my right hand to help count............. Never mind. But I'm still convinced that at least one[/i] of us is a doof!!!

Is journey lad some sort of super hero that has an excessive fondness for Steve Perry?
(R)uffda!, make sure you check the CD's that he brings along for the trip and make sure he puts the blindfold on you rather than himself when he's driving this time.
I'm going to wait until sometime next week to make my predictions for the NACWAA tournament. I want to make sure each of the teams has played a couple of matches first so I get a better idea of how well they're capable of playing.

Minnesota over CSU 3-1
The Gophers will want to avoid the start they had last season and will look to defeat an easier field than last year's tough Hawaiian Airlines Classic where they got spanked by the mighty Rainbow Wahine even though Minnesota was playing their best Vball of the year at the time of the spanking. CSU, while talented, will crumble in their first match in front of the home crowd. Bright lights, choke city!
USC sweeps Georgia Tech 3-0
Tech would need Kele Eveland to be able to compete with the Women of Troy. They lose big in this one as the once fast Tech offense spudders like a slowped against the man block of Troy.
Minnesota over USC 3-2
Minnesota is missing Cassie Bussie. USC is missing Anderson, Ross, Davis, AND Olsovsky. Do the math. I don't care what people say, Not even USC can replace players like Ross, Anderson, Davis and yeah Olsovsky that easily. Minnesota's scrappy defense is trumps provided Gentil doesn't try to do too much.
CSU over Georgia Tech 3-1
The Rams bounce back to drop the Yellow Jackets to 0-2 on the season. Welcome to the Big time ACC! Same can be said to the host Rams.... Welcome to the Big time MWC!
(R)uffda over Gorf (Purse fight) 2 whacks to one
As usual, (R)uffda, who has no regards for the rules, uses a cheapshot to take the Victory; hits Gorf in the back with his "Montblanc" purse when Gorf turns to say hi to old man Johnson.

Gorf isn't going. So I win by default.
Time to hit the road. Need to drive 600 or so miles today. Ciao.
(Go Gophers!)
