Has Boos' role changed now that he has been elevated? It seems as if the system worked well with him as recruiting coordinator. Sounds like Montano will most likely never put on a pair of snow boots.

He's now an Associate Head Coach, if that's what you mean. Jill Pearson has assumed the primary recruiting responsibilities. I dunno about Montano. Let's hope she does end up here--for her sake (a college education) and to help out a program that's been a little snake-bit lately in regards to recruits.

With three top 25 recruits for 2005, the Gophers have now reeled in six top 25 recruits over the last three years. That's pretty impressive and I'm giving all the credit to David Boos since I know for a fact he's partly responsible for five of the six. Mike is obviously a huge part too but my point is that Heffernan wasn't a factor in recruiting over the last few years.

I think you have underestimated Brian's importance in all phases of the program at Minnesota. He was the most genuine personality for future players to get to know; and he has had more a little to do with recruiting over the past few years.

If you've never met or talked to David you wouldn't know that he is every bit as genuine as Brian. That is a compliment to David, not a knock on Brian by any means. Both Brian and David were excellent and very positive additions to the Gopher program.

I, on the other hand, am always over-estimated. Not genuine at all.
Top 10:

Good to see that USC has landed #6 and #23. Which schools are recruiting Paolini?
