These two are the hottest couple since Bennifer. I wonder they'll last as long. If this is going to be a decent E! True Hollywood Story or Beyond the Glory episode, one of them needs to run off with Logan Tom.

i think many of the gold medal athletes were at least invited. Carly Patterson was also there. They're definitely on the A-list right now. Milk it for all it's worth, at least until the next Olympics. 4 years is a long time, and people have short memories (unless you happen to be a VB fan). I wonder what was in their MTV gift bags...........

I'm probably the only one that thinks this, but I cannot stand Kerri's tattoo. I don't think it is very appealing.
However, she looks VERY good in these pics.

Read somewhere that it's a family thing, the infinity symbol. Can't remember if it's in honour of her grandma or something. Her mom's now getting it done too!

Jay Leno interviews Misty: getting married in November.
What do you think she'll do next after getting married? Have a --by and take time off. Then regroup for Beijing 2008.

They were very engaging and poised on camera as usual. I wish they had worn something other than the standard USOC-issued track suits. There have been so many photos and interviews already with them wearing the same outfit. They can wear pretty much anything and look good. It would have been nice to see them with a different look. The tournament ended a week ago. They don't need to keep up the appearance that they just came from the medal ceremony.
This is really putting beach volleyball on the map. The AVP better be kissing their asses because they promote the tour in every interview. You can bet that there are some big sponsorship deals going on right now. Hopefully the AVP won't mess it up like they did in the 90's. It's ironic that for years, the AVP wanted nothing to do with women's volleyball or the FIVB. But the combination of May/Walsh and the FIVB's putting it in the Olympics will probably be the best thing to happen for the sport.
The next important step is for the women's game to have more depth so that there are some challenges and rivalries to keep things interesting. More girls will probably start turning to the beach game at an earlier age, not just when they're beaten up by the indoor game, now that the earning potential will surely increase. It will be interesting to see how this affects the talent pool for indoor volleyball.
