I read somewhere that Long Beach State just landed another recruit who was also being recruited heavily by Hawaii. They got 4 ladies coming in for 2005 and one happens to be a solid setter, thank God! Debbie Green-Vargas' daughter will most likely start as a Freshman at setter.
So, if anyone has any info on this new recruit, please post! Thanks

Daley, Washington, Tokarz, Verdin and Vargas.
All top 100 in the PrepVB list, with Daley the highest, at #15. (The order above is highest to lowest.)

Washington? What are her stats and did she make the top 100?

Washington? What are her stats and did she make the top 100? Naomi Washington is a 6' 4" MB. #52. She's from New Orleans, LA. It also says she is uncommitted. I am relying on second-hand info that she committed to LBSU. Maybe it was posted on the PrepVB message board?

She apparently committed after her visit earlier this week...cancelled her trip to Hawaii as well.....this will give Long Beach an excellent recruit class for 2005, certainly a top 5 class!

Lol. Seems to me the Beach needs way more than a top 5 class to turn things around. Time will tell I guess! I would be the first to admit that Long Beach has a lot of work ahead of it to get where they are used to being! They still need a setter as well, an experienced, trained setter, IMHO!
