Considering the fact that she`s over 30 already. And the team lost a World Championship, World Cup and Olympics with her on the roster. And the team won a World Championship without her on the roster...well I will choose Karch to stay and Hooker stay out of this team. This is really dumb.

It's also a Brazilian advising the U.S. to continue excluding its best point-scorer....

It's also a Brazilian advising the U.S. to continue excluding its best point-scorer.... Oh Brazilian? Is that why they can't use apostrophes correctly and insist on spelling Bartsch as Bartash?

It's also a Brazilian advising the U.S. to continue excluding its best point-scorer.... best point-scorer - that failed big time to win in 2010-2011 and 2012. It is so much easier to turn one of the big OH into a OPP such BARTSH or even Hodge if she comes back... At the end of the day Karch knows what happened as nobody else seams to know.... This is his team and he can do whatever he wants. As I said before, he lead this team to its first ever major tittle without Hooker... did anyone ask for Hooker in 2014 after they won? NOOO... they lost the 2015 World Cup and 2016 Olympics right?? In case you don`t know they lost the 2011 World Cup and 2012 Olympics as well....lolol

He had one great tournament in 2014 (we didn't even make the WGP Finals that year... and we got lucky with the tournament format otherwise it would have been over once Italy kicked our ass)... otherwise results have been worse without Hooker. The team has declined under Karch.. that's a fact.

Hooker is that u? u defend her so much and you get personal when people disagree with u....I think u r Hooker herself, or must be a family member or something.

NOOO... they lost the 2015 World Cup and 2016 Olympics right?? In case you don`t know they lost the 2011 World Cup and 2012 Olympics as well....lolol This is honestly one of the dumbest posts I've read in a while. Let me break it down for you: - Things were way different in 2010 compared to 2014. 2010 was Hooker and Glass' rookie year on the national team, having graduated and then immediately stepping into starting spots. They didn't even have a professional season under their belts. Let me repeat that: our setter and our best point scorer were rookies, just out of college, in 2010. Larson was just a year into her pro career. Later that season, Berg was added to rosters, who hadn't played a single match yet since Beijing. That was not the case in 2014: Glass was one of the best setters in the world, Larson was one of the best OHs in the world, Akinradewo was the best middle in the world. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to imagine that the 2010 season possibly had some growing pains that could have led to the fourth place finish at the World Championships, the last event of a very long season...
- Flash-forward to the next year, 2011, and his group of rookies finally had some experience under their belts and were able to get the silver at the World Cup and qualify for London. Karch's group got the bronze and did not earn a berth to Rio. They had to compete in a separate tournament in order to earn their spot.
- On that note, Karch owes so much of his success to the training and development that Hugh orchestrated during his quad. He helped Glass, Larson, and Akinradewo become some of the very best players in the world at their positions, all referencing the technical changes Hugh had them make to help them become better players. Add players like Hodge, Harmotto, Lloyd, and Thompson to that too. Karch was able to take a team of seasoned, elite professionals to tournaments and he still wasn't as successful. Hugh didn't have that luxury. He started four players that were on the tail end of their careers (Tom, Berg, Davis, Scott-Arruda/Bown). Karch never had to.
- Team USA was 61-11 in matches when Hooker was on the roster (85% win pct). In the same events that Hooker played in, Team USA's winning pct. in the Rio quad was 83% (55-11). Overall, Team USA had an 84% win pct. in the Rio quad without her (126-24), still lower than the team had with her.
- Hooker hit .349 in her three-year national team career with over 4 kills per set. Not a single player in the Rio quad even comes close to that kind of production or efficiency on a pin.
- Hey, let's examine the medal count between Hooker and post-Hooker tournaments:
| London Quad | Rio Quad | WGPs: | 3 consecutive golds* (+ 3 consecutive MVP awards) | 1 gold, 1 silver, PLUS did not qualify for Final Round in 2013, PLUS qualified in 2014 but lost every match | WCh: | 4th | Gold | WCup: | Silver | Bronze, + didn't qualify for the Olympic Games | NORCECA CC: | Gold | Gold | Olympics: | Silver | Bronze | TOTAL: | 4 golds, 2 silvers | 3 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze... |
*Hooker wasn't on the team in 2009 because she was still in college
Get your facts straight, buddy. There is absolutely zero evidence that the team was more successful without Hooker than with her. In fact, there's more evidence to the contrary.

As much as I love Murphy and she's still a bit better than the players we have, she's no Hooker. Hooker is out answer to Boskovic, Ting.. you get the point.

Ok...let me go back. When the user posted the thing about Hooker`s post, some people responded and asked what if it was a choice? Hooker Or Karch who would you pick?. I just replied saying in this case I would pick Karch. To start things with, Hooker should have never left the team, and she`s the best OPP USA ever had. But with everything that happened I think it is too late for her to back, unless there`s a new coach. So bring Hooker back and get a new coach and start everything from scratch? Or Just keep everything as it is? I just prefer the second option and I mentioned before, Hooker is already 30 and if she comes back she probably would stat only until Tokyo anyways.
That is what I was referring to, it is not that I don`t want her to come back. I just don`t think Hooker will "fit" with this team anyways, I don`t see her forcing make smiles on the court or dancing like a cheerleader on the sideline.

That is your standard response to anyone who disagree with your viewpoint? This is "stupid", this is "dumb"? Wow, how "insightful". Pot calling the kettle black, know what that means?
