Is UCLA looking at a 6-2 still or going 5-1 with Sponcil? If Sponcil isn't on the floor the entire time they're wasting her. She is too versatile and too valuable. 5-1 all the way

Daily Bruin Article on upcoming season. Interesting to note: Running a 5-1 offense with Sponcil at setter and Alexis Light currently injured. Article Link

I just got done re-watching the UCLA match. Why is Sealy playing his L in right back for a few rotations?

I just got done re-watching the UCLA match. Why is Sealy playing his L in right back for a few rotations? Is that when Simo is in? Maybe because Simo isn't as good back there and they want a great digger with experience on the right to get the balls going over Sponcil?

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Madeline Gates. She became Sponcil's favorite go-to hitter for a point and put up a pretty formidable block against some talented players. The sky's the limit for Gates as a Bruin.

Quite possibly the best setter and pure athlete to play for the Bruins in a long time, Sponcil will be severely missed next season. The level of play she brought to the court was insane and you can't help but be grateful by what she did on second contact. Glad Sealy used her as a setter this season instead of a libero or pin hitter. Looking forward to her two years of eligibility as a beach player.

Zana Muno, the "Comeback Kid." Her freshman year, she was the back-up setter who became the full-time starter after the Bruins' transfer setter was injured, leading her team to the Regional Finals. Her sophomore year was pure limbo: back-up OPP, back-up DS, serving sub. She's finally earned a position to shine at: libero. She did a damn good job this year: 15 of 28 games with 20+ digs. Replacing Formico was a tough job and Muno proved to be the best candidate for the job.

What are UCLA needs for 2020? They are recruiting 2020 MB from Seal Beach 16 Black. She is really GOOD in front and behind the setter. I would say she’s around 6’1-6’2 quick and jumps well.

What other positions and how many scholarships do they have for 2020?

....and you got Baby Shaq today too! Middle or RS? I'm not familiar with Baby Shaq, is that a get for Sealy or for Speraw? How many more NBA kids have to go VB before they stage an intervention... commits to Men basketball after the Arizona mess
