No connection for Jenna with the middles. Penn State running a much more balanced offense. Stanford too predictable. Penn State's defense has picked up a lot since the beginning of the match.

McClure looks so young. Small and skinny compared to everyone else. Even her serve receive stance looks young...like middle school. Arms start straight out in front of her. She's a freshman on a big stage so I'm sure she'll iron some things out. They did push her out of serve receive at the end of that set.

Stanford is really missing Lutz. It may cost them the match unless Dunning fixes their offense.
So far this season Penn State has gotten stronger as the match progresses. It will be interesting if they can do that again against a quality opponent like Stanford. I hope someone is recording this match.

As a side note, A&M just installed one of those huge video boards. It's played into several plays because it's low. It seems the ceiling in Reed Arena is a little too low for this size screen.

Stanford too predictable sounds like Hambly. I have heard Hambly likes to run his outside hitters and ignore the middle attack ... but maybe he never had the talent level to run the middle much |
