Why the hell am I tagged in this thread? Did you read the first post? You were tagged in the second post. Once you read those posts and then a few others following it, the proverbial light bulb should automatically switch ON for you. Nope, went straight to page 2. So, there’s lots of reading on this committee? ?

Why the hell am I tagged in this thread? This caught me off guard! This thread has been soiled if it prompted azvb to use a word like hell in her post... lol

When I tag you, you should all receive a tagged notification. There should be no excuses like “I didn’t get your notification.” That’s impossible. Apparently you are unaware that receiving or not receiving "tag" notifications is a choice in the profile, and may easily be turned off.

1A: Sure. 1B: I think the votes should be open within the committee. Probably no need to make them public on the forum.

Apparently you are unaware that receiving or not receiving "tag" notifications is a choice in the profile, and may easily be turned off. Actually, I’m not aware of that option. But why would anyone turn that off unless they’re enormously popular and got fed up with such notices? I get a lot of tags and never get tired of them. Also, if you turn off tag notification, I don’t know how you can function in this committee unless you check in often enough to see what’s going on. I suppose if you’re not checking in often enough to participate, I’ll simply remove you from the committee. And that takes care of that. I have it turned off. (And yet, I noticed your post within hours.)

I really can't remember who is who on this forum and it's only going to get worse as my "condition" progresses.
You are Wolfgang, right? The guy who did RollShot?

1a: yes 1b: yes but only public to the committee
I'm pretty indifferent about 1b. I actually have different thoughts based on how the nomination process is. I'm in favor of some transparency if everything is done within the committee versus having volleytalk do nominations.

1a. Yes 1b. Yes
I really have nothing to hide as I know no one on this board nor do they know me. I understand why others would like 1b to be committee only, but I'm for transparency whenever possible in pretty much every area of my life. My own lies and deceit caused me far too much trouble when I was younger.

Just learned a little about tags.
I can work a circular slide rule with one hand while on a landline phone...but smart phones still hold many mysteries for me.
1A-C I vote yes for all the transparency issues.
Re engine knock: The non mechanical knock is a function of detonation requirement for a specific engine. Octane number is a guide. If the engine knocks, increase the octane of the fuel used. Normal heptane is zero octane and iso octane is 100.

1A) No 1B) Yes 1C) Yes? I guess?
For the record, I read this post when I was first tagged, but thought we were supposed to wait to vote until March.
