With the season almost over, while the transfer portal is blowing up again, and given that recruiting never takes a break, I'm excited to let you know we are hosting our third annual EVE showcase, February 21-March 2, 2020. nomosllc.com/nomos-eve-2020/us-coaches This year our EVE team will be joined by Anne Kordes Much like the last couple of years, we've been preparing intensely for what we aspire to be a fantastic international recruiting experience. This year we have decided to host EVE in three key hubs: Istanbul, Turkey, and Athens/Thessaloniki, Greece. We are particularly excited for our third EVE being the best attended yet, and loaded with differentiating talent from the Balkans and beyond. As always, we are leaving no stone unturned for the most promising talent in the classes of 2020-2024. Quick hits of interest: What: Live evaluation of top-level European talent across several recruiting classes, including regular season and regional playoffs' matches in junior and women's leagues, dedicated EVE workouts and sessions with wash drills and live play allowing for complete assessments, as well as accurate measurements for biometrics, collection of all relevant academic and athletic data, high-quality videos from multiple angles, and prospects' contact information in a comprehensive coaches' recruiting packet. Who: The cream of the crop from Balkan countries (and for 2020 some intriguing surprises), approximately 65-75 players, all of whom have the prerequisites to receive volleyball scholarships in the US. When: Feb 21-Mar 2... BUT keep in mind you can select to catch parts of EVE as your other recruiting commitments allow, and you'll still have access to all our material for the respective portions you register. E.g. you can come with us to begin in Turkey the weekend of Feb 21-23 for EVE sessions in Istanbul, or join us for some live matches (Turkey high school championships) Feb 24-26, and continue with us to Athens and Thessaloniki for the full EVE; you can come to just one portion, two, or all three. Where: Istanbul, Turkey 2/21-26 Athens, Greece 2/27-29 Thessaloniki, Greece 3/1-2 How: nomosllc.com/eve-coaches-registration-form-2020 $2,000 per site, or $5,000 for the full EVE. These fees are all inclusive, but for your overseas airfare and hotel incidentals. Why: It works... nomosllc.com/news/student-athletes-news www.instagram.com/nomosllc/www.facebook.com/nomosllc/You can register now to reserve a spot, and feel comfortable that, other than your overseas airfare and hotel incidentals, we take care of you from the moment you land till the time you depart. We can discuss your itinerary and specific needs, interests, side travel, and anything you would like to do while there after registration. We truly want this to be a memorable experience for you, at the "EVE of Opportunity" for these young ladies. Additionally, below please find links to a) a list of prospects that participated in EVE 2019, all of whom in the 2020s and beyond will be repeat participants, as well as a growing list of confirmations (more players will be added soon), b) the link to order the full EVE 2019 recruiting packet, c) news, information, and articles about players from this college volleyball season, and d) testimonials about Nomos. nomosllc.com/lists-of-prospects nomosllc.com/eve-coaches-recruiting-packet-2019 nomosllc.com/news/student-athletes-news nomosllc.com/about-nomos/testimonials Please let me, Anne, or Tassos know if you have any questions or clarification points. We're very proud that dozens of international student-athletes received volleyball scholarships in 2018 and 2019 from past involvement with EVE. We're also looking forward to more cases like 2019 Big East tourney MOP & 2018 Big East and East Region RoY/Hon. Mention All-America Efro Alexakou, Cincinnati MB Demy Tziarli (8 blks vs Pitt), Elena Karakasi, Ariadni Kathariou, Elena Baka, Irem Ucar et al. and allowing players like 15 year old, 6'7" Martha Anthouli (EVEs 2018-2019 Most Promising Prospect as voted by attending coaches; CEVs top U17 scorer currently) and starting junior national team members, CEV medalists, and European Championships top stats-performers like Peyman Yardimci, Sabire Karacaova, Sude Hacimustafaoglu, and many other top-notch European players to shine and earn their well-deserved opportunities for higher education and volleyball in the US. Best wishes from St. Louis! Kristin Folkl-Kaburakis

Final Call for EVE 2020, and we couldn't feel happier and more excited about the win-win prospects this year for coaches and deserving kids! Most of us are departing in 10 days, starting with Istanbul and a loaded schedule of talented and motivated young ladies using this opportunity for a life turn. Here's the list once more: nomosllc.com/lists-of-prospects We'll keep updating this list through next week and as EVE gets under way. After Istanbul we get to Athens and then Thessaloniki. We are looking at 105-110 players this year, and we really feel blessed to be able to provide them and recruiting coaches the opportunity to pursue these meaningful and valuable life moments. Coaches' info: nomosllc.com/nomos-eve-2020/us-coaches Thanks for spreading the good word, helping worthy prospects, and for making it a better world through volleyball

Another great day to be alive and love volleyball here in Turkey For those of you early birds or night owls in the US, here's some high-level live volleyball: The beloved bumblebees as Kristin lovingly refers to the Fenerbahce girls (U17 champs) against the always tough and ultra talented Vakifbank (U19 champs, Sultan's League champs in the pro league team and leaders in the standings this year). Most of these players were at EVE 2020. Stay tuned for EVE videos and recruiting packets order links.

We are super excited to watch some high-level volleyball from Europe amidst these insane days! The CEV U19 European Championships are underway August 22-30 in Bosnia and Croatia. Sadly, a couple of days before the tournament three of the strongest teams bailed Germany, Italy, and Russia Darn COVID! Still, we're pumped to watch some terrific talent beginning at 9a US Eastern Time Sat 8/22, with a match-up featuring several Nomos EVE participants, when Bulgaria takes on Turkey in Osijek, Croatia. Here are links to the CEVs: www.cev.eu/Competition-Area/CompetitionView.aspx?ID=1201www.youtube.com/channel/UCzgxRL6wUhylcjozntleWMw/videos(The Croatian Volleyball Federation will stream live, link above...) www.youtube.com/c/T%C3%BCrkiyeVoleybolFederasyonuTVF/videoswww.tvf.org.tr/kategoriler/video/(The Turkish Volleyball Federation should have ample footage too...) www.youtube.com/channel/UCZbXCvTr7s7nyU6G8zB0I7w/videos(The Bulgarian Volleyball Federation featured several videos as well recently...) What a wonderful way to wrap up the first CEV tourney post-quarantine! Congrats to everyone who put it together and all the teams. Turkey wins 3-2 against Serbia and just a terrific day for volleyball all around. These girls play their hearts out every time they get on the court, and it was so inspiring, recharging, and refreshing to watch them have fun and play high-level volleyball throughout this tournament! If you missed it, here is the link again: Here's the summary article from CEV: www.cev.eu/Competition-Area/CompetitionNews.aspx?NewsID=31013&ID=1201Keep loving volleyball!

Hi from St. Louis folks, I hope this finds you all well and healthy at the start of this much awaited fall season. A few things below, and feel free to always reach out with any questions and clarifications: 1) As several coaches have recently asked us for full game film / unedited footage of the overseas prospects (22-23-24s) we are sending out, reminder there's a ton of high quality video material in the 2021 recruiting packet we have made available in collaboration with Jesica Umansky and Sportlinx360. The order link and more specifics below: nomosllc.com/eve-coaches-recruiting-packet-20212) We keep adding recent highlights of high-caliber prospects, whom you can also review in the full video material in the recruiting packet. Some recent samples here, here, here, and here, with more below and on our YouTube channel. More 2023s / 2024s will ensue in a few weeks. There are several 22s, whom we'd identify as possible D1 differentiators, and considering the logjam of talent in this recruiting class, please advise of current/arising needs and we'll attend. 3) Team tours for 2022 and beyond... Hoping that conditions will allow for teams to take their overseas trips again next year and onward, we are teaming up with the top travel agencies and club teams abroad, to ensure you, your players, your alumni/boosters, and admins can have an unforgettable experience. We are focusing on Greece and Turkey for 2022 and 2023, and are open to suggestions and inquiries. If you would like further info, let me know, and I will introduce you to the specific colleagues' team for a tailored proposal and detailed discussion of options. As always, thank you for all you do and I hope you are enjoying your season preps Kristin

nomosllc.com/events/nomos-eve-2023/eve-coaches-registration-form-2023Folks, we're just under a month from EVE 2023, and it's quite surreal to reminisce on the days of the first EVE five years ago in Athens, from which All-Americans and future alumnae of highly successful programs would start their journey to the US and college volleyball Above please find the registration form, which also features a section for your current needs. Our teams overseas are hard at work, preparing what promises to be the best EVE to date. Certainly we'll experience the most diverse talent, as we already have commitments from: - A dozen different countries in Europe, from Italy and Switzerland, to Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey... from Balkans to Baltics and beyond. But even more importantly, most of these players are also proudly representing their national teams (and/or clubs) in CEVs and international competitions. - Between 55-65 players scheduled to partake in the festivities in Istanbul. The cream of the crop from arguably the most extensive and elaborate volleyball infrastructure system in the world. Complete with U17/U19 Turkish national team players; importantly, the ones who are focused and seriously intent in pursuing Higher Education and volleyball in the US will be there. - Between 35-45 players scheduled to be in Athens. And as you will get to observe in the highlights, some of these players will be the new generation of European volleyball, a new era with truly differentiating talent, especially in the Classes of 2024-2026. - All positions are represented extensively, so any need should be more than adequately addressed by the talent at EVE 2023. We've watched some impressive setters; outstanding 6rot OHs; big (and lefty) Opposites; athletic, agile, and skilled middles; and some of Europe's best liberos - This year's Class distribution is probably the most fascinating of all EVEs to date. Tentatively: 2023s: 26 2024s: 33 2025s: 18 2026s: 10 We can't wait to visit and enjoy some great moments around volleyball, as these young athletes prepare for their life journeys.
