From the Bryant Bulldogs team page: "SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University volleyball team will travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to take on the No. 2 national seed the University of Minnesota on Friday night (Nov. 30) at 8 p.m. EST (7 p.m. CST) in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Volleyball Championship. It was announced Sunday night during the NCAA Volleyball Selection Show. Bryant, the Northeast Conference champion, will face the Gophers for the second time in program history. The two teams met in the North Charleston Classic in 2015, with Minnesota picking up a 3-0 victory. The Black and Gold will be making their first NCAA appearance at the Division I level and their 12th in program history. Bryant qualified for the NCAA Tournament with a sweep of Sacred Heart November 17 in Brooklyn. The Bulldogs are 22-12 on the season with victories over America East champion Stony Brook and members of the Big East, Conference USA and MAC." Individual Stats

Just saying. That's pretty remarkable.

Great front row player!
They need to update the rules to give teams the option to let the libero serve for both middles.

That's like saying the Honda Fit has top notch acceleration 0-60mph ... as far as sub-compact economy cars go. Liberos and DS's play exclusively in the back row. There is just nothing wrong with the idea that both middles should be exclusively front row players. #tiltingatwindmills

So are people taking next Friday off, with the expectation the Gophers may have an afternoon match in the regional semifinal. As I recall, they played the first match in 2016, but it was at 7PM.
Seeing lots of chatter that ESPN3 schedule has early match times scheduled for most of the regional semis next Friday. So it is likely Minnesota and Illinois matches would be in the early afternoon.

Btw, I sure hope they know what times the matches are before they start selling tickets, otherwise there's going to be some unhappy fans.
Makes you want to be unemployed, except then you can't afford the tickets.
