Is Goehner really pregnant? According to her Instagram, yes. She is due in June with a little girl. I’m guessing she wasn’t feeling the best the second half of the season. was about to say. Probably did slow her down a bit. All the best to her and her child! She seems excited to welcome her child into the world!

I've harped on this before, but one more time can't hurt: Martin is the 16th ranked recruit. Yes, the rankings sometimes turn out to be undeserved, but more often, the very highly ranked players show their stuff, eventually, even if not always as quickly as the fans (and presumably the coaches and the players) would like. Both Harms and Wilhite didn't become stars until their senior years. Martin had a really, really bad November, and Hugh eventually threw in the towel and benched her. Perfectly understandable and long-over due, I thought. Now the question becomes, how does she respond to that demotion. I hope it lights a fire under her and she lives up to her potential sooner rather than later. It will be interesting to see whether she can reclaim her L2 role next year. Maybe. Martin was dealing with an injury all of November and December. Got progressively worse as the season went on.

I was looking through old rosters online recently, and I wondered why Jessy Jones' name is missing from all of them. She played all four years, correct? Was there a big falling-out that I missed? This is slightly before I started following Gopher VB.

This is slightly before I started following Gopher VB. Just double-checked the 2004 roster. She's on there. You are correct. That roster appears to be a relatively recently generated PDF, however. The 2005 and newer rosters are missing her, among a host of others. Kind of annoying for history freaks like me.

Just sloppy archiving is my guess. The website could really use some work, especially in regards to historical records.
There was no falling out.

Hannah tapp is on her way home to rehab her knee Just saw this as well, do anyone know what happened? From an Italian league page via Google translate... "The company Il Bisonte Firenze announces that the clinical tests that Hannah Tapp underwent have shown a partial lesion of the patellar tendon of the right knee. The twenty-two-year-old American was injured in the last point of the third set of the Italian Cup match against Conegliano last December 30, and today will return to the United States, where in the coming days will undergo a routine surgery in agreement with the staff doctor of the national of his country."

2022. So she’s an 8th grader. She has the potential to be the Wis Player of the year for 4 years. She has played up every year since she started with Sting, something that does not happen.

Good get for Hugh, just wondering but is he going after Melanie Sheffmaster's sister?

Good get for Hugh, just wondering but is he going after Melanie Sheffmaster's sister? Yes, they're recruiting Mabrey as well. She's a 2021 though so wouldn't be the same class as Wucherer. Should they land her they would have Taylor Landfair, Mabrey Shaffmaster, and Mckenna Wucherer as top notch outsides coming in 3 recruiting classes in a row.
