Anyone have any comments about the 14s field at Florida Fest, given that 352 looks to be playing in 15s to get more competition?

Thoughts on MVP for this weekend? Expected finish bid wise? Them and Coastal got a pretty good draw in the challenge match with pool H or pool I, which consists of three teams to that could take them if they are playing poorly CUVC OBV and Coastal (FL), of which they have beaten OBV and Coastal (FL) when they played them this year. There challenge could be against any one of these teams who they should beat. So gold bracket should be in there future but with the lack of already earned bids in that division they could have to win one more match. |

Academy vs alpha is a even match! I have not seen Academy play yet but I give them a slight edge.
Lenny vs coastal - what will coastal look like fully staffed ? This is a tough one to call! I'm pulling for the east coast but Lenny is solid

Perhaps a winner in the category of weirdest play- first play of Coastal v Uno one of Coastals middles gets blocked by the Uno right sides nose. Coastal lost the point but there was a delay in the game because there was blood on the court

17s - Orlando Gold Black Beats Rockstar in the finals. Orlando came in 19th at SCVA and 13th at the Boys Winter Championship. Rockstar travels to Florida to get their bid. 11th at SCVA.
18s - Academy defeats MVP Fire in the finals.

If anyone follows the 14s Boys in Florida Tomorrow, please post your observations. FL Mojo beat A5 in a 3 set final for 14s open gold. A5 was undersized but played good defense. WPVC vs Orlando Gold Black had an uneven match for 3rd. WPVC took first set easily, but second OG played better. I don't think any of the top 4 teams would have stood a chance vs 352 Elite 14s who won 15s with one of their best hitters sidelined with an injury. |

I can tell by the scores why 352 played up in 15s. My son's team had met A5 and put up a single digit score to defeat them, so I had a general feel for the overall event when I saw A5 reaching finals and losing in 3. |
