I forgot there was a History thread.
The advent of automobiles created sexual opportunities in America. In 1919, less than 10% of automobiles were enclosed. By 1927, 82.8% were. During that time, skirt lengths were getting shorter and shorter and by 1924, the skirt was up to the knees. Plus, the radio in the cars were playing music.

How the party has changed. From the party that abolished slavery under Lincoln to this, their sorry recent history: They are also the party to oppose late term abortion’s but why worry about protecting the innocent

I think Jesus most likely existed. Not necessarily a divine God-like human, but a person to fit the character in biblical and related text. I do not believe in a historic global flood, but it seems each long-existent culture has a flood story. Perhaps there was a great flood in one region that became a legend. "Science" teaches that the Earth was once a water world before the continents were formed via volcanic activity. It also teaches that numerous asteroids have crashed into the ocean, creating gigantic title waves that washed over the continents. If you don't believe that there has been a global flood at one point or another, then you are at odds with both religion and science. And that's not a very good starting point.

It claimed to be the big tent party. But that's all history now. Today the GOP is nothing but a reactionary party.
