There seems to be a lot of questions via PM regarding Freshmen. I'll say it again, they count as the position on the listed roster. If they are not listed or there is no position, you can draft them and list the predicted position, but once the rosters are finalized and season begins, they will be considered the position listed on the roster. Even if they play a different position than they're listed as?
You can't be punished for position changes. So if you draft a freshman, and they move from one position to another, they can be used as the position you drafted them for, what was listed on a roster. So if you drafted them as a MB, and they move to OH, they will be counted as a MB. If you dropped this player, someone would have to pick them up as an OH (the position they currently play).
I think this is a very rare instance to be problematic. Some freshman are listed at both positions, and may count for either position no matter what they actually play. If something comes up and there is controversy, we can discuss it on a case-by-case basis.

Look, I'll apologize on behalf of the admins if you felt chastised. From my perspective, and I think the other admins share this view, is that you in particular post very frequently here, you were previously commenting on many other people's first round draft picks, which is great, so it seemed disingenuous for you to not have your first round draft picks ready. but we've moved on, so lets not keep dragging on this. There shouldn't be special rules for me because I post a lot, but thanks for apologizing (the only apology I've received, though I did appreciate trojansc deleting some of his posts). Most of us post here at least once a day. You would've gotten my picks 8 hours after the previous poster picked his, but everyone was super excited to start the draft and keep the flow going, and took my sarcastic post about cross-referencing seriously and personally. I explained my situation on this thread and to others who sent rude PMs. Next time, let's not jump to conclusions and offer the benefit of the doubt before we start burning anyone at the stake. Happy to move on. Thank you again for apologizing. @allamerican11 I was the one busting your chops for taking so long to draft, and I even said it was my fault if you felt pressure and to not call everyone a jerk since it was really just me. It was three days ago so let it go and for picking under pressure I liked your picks so be happy that you made them quickly or you probably would have done what I did on one of my picks and over thought it and now wish I could redo.

Just to clarify how I interpreted the rules listed on page 1 in regards to rosters. It lists out you draft: 1. OH 2. OH 3. OH 4. OH 5. MB 6. MB 7. MB 8. S 9. S 10. L 11. L 12. Freshman - this may be any position, so if you took a freshman OH you would then have 5 OH, and if you took a freshman setter you would have 3 setters. So at the end of the day you have a 12 player roster and the freshman is any position besides the first 11 listed. Did I interpret this correctly?
You're interpreting it wrong. The 12th is a player of ANY position.
Only one player on your 12-person roster has to be a freshman.
OK, I may have articulated it a bit differently above, but it is the same thing. 11 players listed + wildcard = 12 players and one of the 12 needs to be a freshman. Thanks

You can't be punished for position changes. So if you draft a freshman, and they move from one position to another, they can be used as the position you drafted them for, what was listed on a roster. So if you drafted them as a MB, and they move to OH, they will be counted as a MB. What if their position changes on the online roster?

Once the season starts, the roster at the beginning of the season, when you drafted the player is only what matters. Most freshmen are already added for this summer. If their position changes on the court OR on the roster after the season begins and after you have drafted them, it is irrelevant. The original position is what counts for your minimum.
Now, when you add/drop players DURING the season, the position that they currently play at the time you pick them up/drop is what counts.

If someone in the fantasy league has your phone # then you are good enough friends that they can dog you via text! And that's all I have to say about that.

vup mentioned he now works nights so he may still be at work and it be another hour or two.
At least trojansc is on the west coast and has duncaroo's pick so if Hawk Attack is a night Hawk ay2013 may get his pick in tonight.
