Yes. But still has a season of eligibility. I don’t think Edwards is back. She was listed a RS Jr last year, but she was honored at Senior day and was featured on the team poster that the team puts out each year, which always features only Seniors. She redshirted a year at Santa Clara and she redshirted a year at USD. That would make her a sixth year Senior if she were to play this year, which I think is not possible. I believe she is back for one more year and grad school. Her first year was a medical redshirt, and sometimes in those cases, a 6th year is granted.

Roster just came up today and she’s on it. Very happy to be wrong about that one.

Will San Francisco win a Conference game this year? The dons haven't won one since 2015. They have a number of promising-sounding recruits, including 2 Hawaiians (a setter and a DS), and 6' and 6'2" OH's, among the 8 new signees. They could beat Pacific this year, if Pacific doesn't pull together a few more good players. USF Roster #1 SHANNON LEVINSON, JUNIOR - DEFENSIVE SPECIALIST/LIBERO 5'3" # 2 ALLY WADA, FRESHMAN - SETTER 5'8" #4 TANNER SHAYNE PEMBERTON, FRESHMAN - LIBERO/DEFENSIVE SPECIALIST 5'6" #5 ERIN ANTHONY, SOPHOMORE - SETTER 5'9" #6 KATIE WAGSTAFF, FRESHMAN - MIDDLE BLOCKER 6'0" #8 ANNA DALLA VECCHIA, SOPHOMORE - LIBERO 5'7" #9 EMILY ZINGER, SOPHOMORE - RIGHT SIDE HITTER 6'3" #10 KATHYA GARCIA, JUNIOR - OUTSIDE HITTER 5'10" # 11 SOPHIA SYDENHAM, FRESHMAN - OUTSIDE HITTER/SETTER/OPPOSITE 5'10" #12 MARJOLIJN OSKAM, GRAD STUDENT - MIDDLE BLOCKER 6'4" #13 MOANA TO'OTO'O, FRESHMAN - LIBERO/DEFENSIVE SPECIALIST 5'8" #14 KATE ASHMAN, JUNIOR - MIDDLE/RIGHT SIDE 6'3" #16 VICTORIA GRACE ROGERS, FRESHMAN - OUTSIDE HITTER 6'0" #17 MCKENNA MARSHALL, FRESHMAN - OUTSIDE HITTER 6'1" #18 CAMILLE ARUJO, JUNIOR - DEFENSIVE SPECIALIST/LIBERO 5'7" #19 LENA BONDAR, GRAD STUDENT - OUTSIDE HITTER/OPPOSITE 5'11" #20 SAIGE MADDEN, FRESHMAN - OUTSIDE HITTER 6'0"

With Hamson's injury, will USD have the target on their backs or will it still be BYU?

Just read something (hilariously) fascinating somewhere on VT; where guys were debating the FOURTH best conference in NCAA VB, and the WCC came up. Not sayin' it is not competitive, & yet, I view the Big 12, ACC and WCC as 4A, 4B and 4C. THAT being said, there is quite the substantial gap between the B1G, SEC plus Pac-12 and the more 'mid majors'. Without BYU? Sixth or worse!

Well, WCC has BYU and San Diego leading the way for the conference year in and year out. Big 12 has Texas leading the way. Baylor and Kansas are coming a long ways. ACC has Florida State and North Carolina is leading the way..... In which conferences can shore up the other members to be the legit 4th best conference

I view the Big 12, ACC and WCC as 4A, 4B and 4C... Without BYU? Sixth or worse! This could all depend on which metric is being used. Looking at the conferences top to bottom (meaning the median ranked team), I agree with the 4A, 4B, 4C assessment. With or without BYU, WCC is exactly sixth - no less, no more. WCC doesn’t drop further than that until you drop USD as well. And even then, though they’d be weak at the top end, WCC would still - top to bottom - be better than AAC. Well ahead of C-USA, A10, MVC (miss anyone?).

Quite a few, in fact; there are twenty-two DI VB conferences. Notwithstanding, you & I are just about in total basic agreement: my Point was-is those ARE the top six volleyball conferences.

These others came from looking through the rankings. Okay, so I’ll just do this thing. Based on median rpi at the end of last season: 1. PAC12 2. B1G 3. SEC 4. Big 12 5. ACC 6. WCC 7. Big East 8. CAA 9. ASUN 10. AAC
