Wisconsin jumps everyone in the BIG depending the level that Haggerty returns. Nebraska loses its setter and gains Sun who needs to learn to pass. In Cook we trust, but it will take some time. Texas is far too high but what else is new.

I had my program Michigan at 16 and it ended up 20th after tabulating. How did other voters do in assessing their own programs? I assessed mine correctly.

The fact that Prep's insider didn't have Michigan in their top 25 is egregious, imo. They return Skjodt, Welsh, Lerg, and had a strong recruiting class. I have Michigan at 11. Might be a little high, but I think they're gonna be good, obviously. We'll see.

I had my program Michigan at 16 and it ended up 20th after tabulating. How did other voters do in assessing their own programs? Placing Hawaii was a struggle for me. I felt like I should leave them out of the Top 25 but then I weighed them against other teams I consideried for the back half of the poll and felt that they belonged. I moved them to 18 (which I realize may be too high this early in) but many teams are interchangeable in that area of the poll. I’d have no problem moving them out if they don’t prove they belong.

When Illinois makes the final four, you all owe me $5. Poulter isn't good enough for that to be realistic. Sarcasm or are you smoking crack? If we get Bruna cleared watch out!

Won't Cook just use a DS if Sun gets too shank happy? So it really won't be that big of a problem for Nebraska. The freshman setter on the other hand... that could take awhile to overcome. Not that Hames isn't talented or can't do the job, but it's very difficult for a freshman to step in and run an offense right away.

I am the culprit of the Minnesota vote Stanford was my #2 and it was a close choice between the two, ultimately the deciding factor for me came down to who I have more faith in developing a #1 worthy product by season’s start... McCutcheon or Hambly. Both squads return the majority of their stars and it’ll come down to the correct slotting of role players. Show me the end of the season and I’ll show you a potential Nebraska #1 vote, but until Nicklin Hames proves her mettle I placed them at #6. Do we all remember the VERT Challenge without Kelly Hunter last season? It could be equally rough waters Week 1. They’ll settle into their groove though, I anticipate this being my lowest ranking for them all season. I assumed a healthy Haggerty to place Wisconsin #3 and a cleared Bruna to rank Illinois #5. My biggest poll discrepancies: My rank -> aggregate ranking Illinois #5 -> #11 Oregon #17 -> #12 Florida #15 -> #8 Missouri #19 -> #26 I had UNI (#22) & Western Kentucky (#24) ranked and the aggregate did not have them in the Top 30. I did not rank Louisville or Marquette and at least one of those was a huge oversight on my part! I mean we practically know what Stanford’s lineup is gonna be. Fitz has looked really good on the right side and I think Campbell is also a solid player. Stanford returns basically everyone from a Final Four team and Fitz has potential to be better than Lutz IMO.

If I remember correctly, I though Cook promised to let her develop no matter what.
If so, Nebraska fans may be in for a long season if she struggles.

I really don't have enough faith in Hambly; he needs to prove himself by leading his team to a championship.
McCutcheon, for me, is one of the best coaches out there. He's a master at adjusting on the fly.
I agree, Nebraska may need a little more time than most people think.
