Since this season is over already, let’s start looking at our team next year. Who do we have? WOW!, kind of rude, but lol I agree...This is not going to be UH year. I think they'll come in 3rd or fourth the end of the season. It will be kind of odd that last year and this season, UH is not ranked in the top 25. New record. I hope by 2020, UH will be ranked in top 25, maybe by 2022 or 2023 top 10. Depending on the recruits coming in 2019,2020.

I keep seeing people mentioning this incoming "European player". Is this for real and do we have any information on her?

Natural has always been very honest with us about recruits so I don’t think he/she is lying but they have said this player will make an immediate impact. But of course they have to be cautious about what they say to not ruin anything which is understandable

As things stand right now, were are witnessing, over the last several years, the slow decline of the program into inconsequentialness...I've been a fan since Klum gym days and I don't want to see our beloved program go the way of Pacific, Long Beach State (no offense LBSU fans), etc...

I wonder if RAMS is over her head about this team? I wonder how many teams will fly into Honolulu and do some sweeping of the Women Bows? I hate to be harsh, but, UH was on the winning side by the ending of the season, lost 5 set match to Ill. And now the new season starts, and kapoot.

What about Jeon Jin-woo. The Koreans call her “Lady Dragon”. Has Robyn had any contact with her yet? I don’t want to be disappointed like I was with that suppposed Chinese recruit a few years back.

History just loves to repeat itself with Hawaii fans. You guys ripped your team and coach apart after the Marquette match last season and look how it all turned out in the end.
I mean damn...

It's to be expected when the team has fallen in the last few years. In 2015 they beat Penn State in the Regional semis so it's not like they've been out of the conversation for a long time. It's the same thing as when the Nebraska/Oregon fans voted Nebraska/Oregon lower in the VT poll after their losses. You get used to your team doing well and expect that to continue. When it doesn't, it hurts so you complain and try to "fix" things. Trying to identify and fix problems is normally a good and adaptive behavior so we're wired to do it. It kind of goes wrong with sports bc a team's season is beyond our control but bc we're emotionally invested, we still try to ID the problems and fix them.

I think that Hawaii fans remember the "good ole days" and we want a return to those days. We never used to lose to teams like Marquette or Kansas State let alone get swept twice by them. It's natural for the fans to vent. To us Hawaii fans, losing to those teams is like the Iowa football team losing to Kent State and North Texas.
