As much as I like a Hawaii victory, I want them to be challenged. I want other teams to push them the way Portland did. Exactly! You want all your losses to be in the pre-season. |

Listening to Tif Wells for the 1st time in YEARS: UGH! Strange set: kinda streaky; Granato "hitting" -.286; the whole LS attack has one(!) kill; team at .242; Liva, Iosia & Burns producing.

That guy in one of the lower bowl seats who holds up the ACE card or occasionally wears the ROOF glasses -- I think he's hilarious. He's got really good comedic facial expressions. Maybe it's just me. The cameraman manages to catch him in every match.

It's best if everyone contributes instead of just one player. Glad to see Gaskin and Castillo finally contributing. But they have to do this every match. Not just against the lowly teams.

Meh! That announcer: quite the "professional". If one had told me that Granato would get her 1st and 2nd kills on the FINAL two points of the second set? I would think UH would be down, or even, at best! Burns, Iosia, and (finally) Gaskin (getting decent sets (finally!)) bringin' it. Team hittin' .324; 6 service errors (gaahh!); Liva and Castillo faring MUCH better; Go 'bows.
