Greene and Miner both to Stanford? Kidding. I don't think Greene is being recruited by Stanford. But I suppose it is possible she applied to Stanford as a "dream" academic school and if accepted might consider walking onto the volleyball team. |

Lindsay Krause is good, but I don’t think she’s the #1 recruit out of this class. She's the #1 OH right now, whether that will equate to #1 overall remains to be seen. I think we'll see Orr as only the third setter to ever get the #1 overall designation from PrepVB. The only thing that matches her resume is her projected ceiling. |

Green has committed not allowed to announce until officially admitted to the school. When does that usually happen. I know Stanford does a preliminary approval. Don't know about other schools. Likely letter won’t arrive until October of this year. But she is still not allowed to make it official until she is actually admitted. |

By official I was referring to her announcing it i.e. “I have verbally committed to XYZ University” not that the verbal is official.

The poster did not say that. What the poster seems to be speaking about is what ivies and high academic dIIIs do after 5 or 6 semesters of high school. They get your application together and submit it to admissions and get an "indication" on the LIKELIHOOD of admission. Even if admissions gives you a green light (vs. a yellow or red depending on system), you are still not ensured of admission until the early admission period in your senior year. |

They (other posters) are not talking ncaa official, they are talking institutional “official letter of admissions” : which we all know has zero to do with the ncaa recruiting stuff!!!
