Oglivie is being recruited as an L/DS by Stanford. She should be in the running to replace Hertz at the L position. I see her as being very elite as a passer. She won't be as good of a defender as Hentz, but who would be. Could she fill as an OH in an emergency/injury situation, sure, but given the pin hitters Stanford has already recruited, I don't see her playing the front row. Definitely see Olglivie in a defensive/ball control roll for the Cardinals, but I also think that in a couple of years, when McClure's passing is gone, Elena could have a shot at the pins if the remaining outsides can't handle the ball.

I did not mind the discussion of Oglivie when she was uncommitted and possibly a Hawaii recruit. (Don't know how serious either party were with each other.) But once she committed to Stanford, she has been moved off the board -- at least in my mind. It's like the NFL or NBA draft. Once players have been picked, there's absolutely no point in discussing those same players for my team anymore. I've moved on.
(I do get the irony that in the post where I'm complaining about the discussion of Oglivie in this thread, I'm actually discussing Oglivie in this thread. LOL!)

Crossing my fingers for a Mia Tuaniga commit Doubt Mia will decommitt from from Long Beach and if she does, she’ll probably end up in the Pac some where.

Is there another setting coach out there who is on Robyn's level? Hawaii can best most Pac teams this season. I was thinking that Tuaniga originally committed to the Beach because of the coach, but the general coaching seems questionable and the injured starting setter along with the underdevelopment of the backup setter are unappealing

I thought it was because of the family legacy.

I think Tuaniga is a long shot as is the younger Iosia. Those that actually think that we can actually have a shot are the future USC, UCLA commits that might reconsider after a coaching change, also Oeegon I'd they also fail to make the tournament. Also would like to add Gabriel if shes not on scholarship, Akeo if shes homesick. Pennsylvania is not a good place for someone like her lol.

Wasn’t there a mentioned that UH was going after a foreign setter this past season. Maybe they still on that setter and she coming in next year since we got Bailey late.
Someone from their country’s Jr National Team would be a great get.

Speaking of Mia, isn't that the name of the Hawaii recruit from Texas who is a kind of Riley Wagoner-ish, white girl, short OH? Forgot her last name.
