Sorry if it has been mentioned, but I didn't see it on the front page. www.ocutrailblazers.com/article/1357.phpCIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Ohio Christian University Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Rachael Bailes as the new Head Coach of the Women's Volleyball Program. Bailes will take over her first collegiate head coaching job following 26 years of playing and coaching at both the collegiate and club levels. Never knew it was open. thanks.

That's it, I'm updating my resume to reflect every year I've been involved with the game since I 1st touched a ball. 26 years? Dang!

They clearly would have gone in a different direction, had she not been the captain of her 7th grade team.

Happy for Sean, he's really strong on the analytics side and served Michigan volleyball well. So I guess that opens up the AC position in Ann Arbor. Is Jerome Fraisse next in line?

Congrats to Sean. I don't know if anyone else had noticed but Mark and Leisa has slowly and steadily mentored a good number of assistants towards the top job. Maybe not as splashily and rapidly as some programs, but they have had their share.

Norfolk reposted... did last one fall through or just rewritten to hire assistant? real re-posting... process for previous hire (who was fired from Winston-Salem St) "fell through" When did “fired” info come into play? I must have missed that. Since it is karellen, I would think it is true, though. If so, that’s not the first time, and how unfortunately awkward to have already reached out to schools regarding scheduling, etc. only to have it “fall through.” Tough situation!

Savannah State has interim tag.. unclear if she was there this past season.. i believe she may have been assistant coach. No bio information is on the website. Linked in says she was the assistant coach. incoming players noted she will remain head coach through next season. Once I know more I'll be sure to add. ssuathletics.com/roster.aspx?path=wvball#sidearm-roster-coaches
