Yee haw! I expected five teams from the Big West to be in this year's tournament but to have the same six who were in last year's tournament, well it surprised me - that's great! { BonJoeVee, Idaho Boy® and you too Mumsie...c'mon, you drama queens, you knew all along the Vandals we're gonna be included Good luck!}
"Drama Queens" - Ha ha. That's a good one! We fans are just as surprised as the team and the rest of you non-fans. But, THE COMMITTEE HAS SPOKEN. So, YAYYYY!!! We're on our way to Seattle. Load up the bus! Pack the bags. Yippee!! ;D ;D

And to think, Cindy Spiro is NOT on the selection committee this year. Dang, I'm as surprised as I was last year. Congrats to all 6 BW teams making it in.
Pacific will probably be sent packing after the first round, we got a tough draw, but after last year, I ain't complaining.
Go Gauchos!!

I fully expect a first round win. After all you beat us at UCSB and we swept Berkeley at Berkeley. ;D

Thanks, TSB. You're right, it could happen. Go Tigers! Go Gauchos! Well, USC beat Washington and Washington State beat USC and Idaho beat Washington State. So, that means Idaho has a "chance" against Washington, right? ( I took "Traditional Logic 100" in college.) "It could happen!" Go Vandals! Go Tigers! Go Gauchos!

Gotta be honest here, I am just plain shocked that 6 teams from the Big West got in! What the hell is that all about....???No respect given to the Big West in the polls, but then again I guess that it wasn't the "pollsters" who made this decision now was it? If you would read the selection criteria, you would realize that national ranking doesn't play into selection or seeding. Dumbass.

Look, not to beat a dead horse (but I can't seem to help myself here)... an interesting stat:
Regular season hitting % / Post season UCI - .282 / .039 CSN - .218 / .045 Idaho - .235 / .081
These teams did not earn the right to be included... the strength of the conference this year was down. Their only good wins were against each other - not teams from stronger conferences. OK - I'm over it finally.

Sort of agree (especially after seeing UCI play) but don't really see who deserved to be in instead. ACC teams just didn't show well outside of conf. Conf-USA deserved 1 At-Large bid I thought as did MVC. SEC was about right. A lot of strong teams didn't meet the .500+ record requirement...

No Big West team advances past the second round. hmmm, maybe those pollsters WERE right on ocassion.
