Since I haven't seen anyone done so here, I decided to create a thread myself. There are currently fifteen US players participating in this year's Champions League. They are distributed into seven clubs of four countries: Turkey: Ezcacibasi: Jordan Larson, Lauren Gibbemeyer Vakifbank: Kelsey Robinson
Italy: Conegliano: Kimberly Hill, Megan Easy (sadly Easy's season is over due to her injury) Novara: Lauren Carlini, Michelle Bartsch-Hackley Scandicci: Annie Mitchem, Regan Hood
Poland: Chemik Police: Chiaka Ogbogu
Germany: Stuttgart: Sarah Wilhite, Molly McCage, Paige Tapp, Krystal Rivers, Madi Bugg
Here's the official website of the tournament: www.cev.eu/Competition-Area/competition.aspx?ID=1119&PID=1619
For watching the games, there are multiple ways: 1. eurovolley.tv is the official website that broadcasts all the CL matches (both women and men). But the live streams are not available in the US, Canada, Poland and Italy. They do offer replays for these countries after 48 hours. However, I tried to use Hola VPN and fake to UK, it worked for me perfectly this morning. BTW I am in Canada. The monthly subscription fee of eurovolley.tv is 7.99 euro, with 31 days of free trial. 2. If you are in the States and also a FloVolleyball subscriber, you can watch the games on Flo. 3. There are also some free links available, but the quality is not so good. I've seen people posting them here: inside.volleycountry.com/thread/6903-cev-champions-league-2019/?pageNo=1

The best match so far is the Italian rivalry between Conegliano and Scandicci from Pool D. Haak from Scandicci had 33 pts though Scandicci lost to Conegliano. You guys should really watch these competitions between the top teams of European clubs. Filled with talented players, lots of fantastic plays, and very fun to watch!

Tomorrow morning we'll be able to see Ogbogu and Carlini's CL debut. Chiaka has been tremendously efficient in the Polish league so far. Hope she can bring out the power to CL as well!

Ogbogu with Chemik Police lost to their opponents in four sets. Ogbogu had 13 points with 12 kills and a block. She had a 55% of attacking success rate. Carlini and MBH defeated Lodz in three sets, both Americans had a good game.

EuroVolleyTV is so much better than FLo.....They say we are able to watch the replays after 48 hours but the replays are already available to watch. (I was able to watch live using VPN). The best thing is when you log in the full matches are right there already and the video does not shows you the length and after clicking on the video it still does not show it...unless you keep the mouse on the main screen....This is great because if I see the length of the video I already can tell if the game ended in 3 or 5 sets...and this is a big spoiler.
When you log in you have schedule on the right corner and you can see the live games happening and when they start....when I log in on FLO it takes a few minutes until I can find the game I want to watch and their schedule is a such a mess and all screwed up, like I still can`t figure out if they are streaming every CL games or just a few and that`s why I did not even waste my time signing up for FLO again....I just went with the EuroTV.

I've used Flo before, but my user experience with them watching the VNL was so terrible that I then switched to FIVB TV (is that what it's called?) for WCH. As for Champions League, I did not even bother to consider Flo, and I remember their charge is also pretty expensive. Since I‘ve been using LVFTV to watch the Italian A1 league for the past two seasons and the EurovolleyTV has almost the same website layout but just a different theme colour, I am used to it and actually I kinda like it.
Of course as a volleyball fan in Canada I need to use VPN to watch most tournaments. I just wish I were in the States so then I will have access to YouTube TV and will be able to watch tons of NCAA matches that are aired on SEC Network, BIG TEN Network, ESPN, etc.

I remember FIVB TV was not geo-blocked in Canada. But I've successfully watched EuroTV and FloVolleyball by using VPN though.

Imoco is in a very critical position now. According to the rule, the top team in each pool + the best three teams that rank 2nd in their respective pools will move on to the quarter-finals. Imoco is now behind Stuttgart, Lodz and Moscow in the standing. Only by winning all the rest matches can they guarantee a position in the quarter-final.

Schwerin had ZERO answer for Lowe. Playing the last three sets she scored 19pts on 33 swings for a 58% success rate with only 4 total errors (2 on serve / 2 attacking) and 2 blocks. The only player with a higher success rate was Danesi with 68%.
Schwerin is not what I would call a top tier team but still.....Lowe came out and delivered for her team in a 3-2 victory.
Take this with whatever grains of salt you like.
Still a good showing from Lowe.
Can't wait for Flo to get the replay going so I can watch it!

Schwerin is not what I would call a top tier team but still..... Didn't they beat Imoco 3-0 the first match-up? Maybe not a top tier team, but they've had one of the top team's numbers throughout the tournament so far.
