I'm sure the NCAA keeps its own score database, which automatically calculates the RPIs based on all data currently entered.
Now whether that is correct or not, I don't know. But I doubt it is tied to the Figstats database at all.

Figstats draws it's scores from the NCAA website. Looks like the Illinois SID was slow to upload the box score from the Purdue match. It's now accurate on both the NCAA website and on Figstats.
