I dont think anybody is blaming her for the outcome. Im guessing she took it hard on herself that’s why she decided to transfer. There are clearly some chemistry issues within, I hope they can fix it coming into next year. Biggest factor probably being that the athletes related more to the assistant coaches than they did to Sealy. With Tony and Kaitlin's departure, the athletes may not feel the draw or desire to stay for a head coach they don't connect with. I don't blame them at all. UCLAs assiteant coaches were fired.

I am not surprised Miller is transferring, but more surprised it took her this long to do it. Setter issues at UCLA? No way...

Isn't that usually a sign that the AD's had a "you have one more chance to right the ship" conversation with the head coach?

What does that have to do with anything? My point is, that the coaches they connected with are no longer there. Hence there is a good chance we see some transfers.

I am not surprised Miller is transferring, but more surprised it took her this long to do it. Same. Before UCLA: First Team All-American and #11 Senior Ace. Freshman year: Saw partial court time in a 6-2 but not until partway through the pre-conference when TVW was healthy. Sophomore year: Benched in favor of transfer setter Sponcil. Played eight sets the entire year. Junior year: Starting setter most of the year after having to win the spot from freshman Chang and still only saw action in 72 sets (17 fewer than her freshman year) due to merry-go-round at the setter and libero positions all season. Shocked Miller stayed that long.

So where will she end up? How about BC? Jason on the prowl and seems to be having success.

It was definitely a waste, especially since if for any reason he needed a back-up setter to replace Sponcil, he had Muno who set the team to a 25-8 season in 2015 as a freshman. Simo could've easily (maybe not as effectively as we've seen) replace Muno in the libero position if that needed to happen.

I guess another mwc or wcc setter transfer to the rescue for Sealy?

BC is picking up players that will make them better, but not of her caliber. How do we truly know what her caliber is though? While yes, she was highly coveted coming out of high school and should have all the tools to be a high level setter, she hasn't shown that consistently for 3 seasons. Not saying she ends up at BC, but it might not be crazy to think that BC would be a level that is below her based on her career.
