Which libero (if any) will stand out next year? Had LSU been more successful, my vote would've been Ciancuilli for her prowess this past season. I'm inclined to go with her again for 2019.

If the team is successful and she improves her passing then hopefully she’ll be in the conversation. If not, the people seem to love Curry...and being a top conference team plays a big part of the lib awards.

Camila Gomez' list of awards from international competitions looks quite impressive: 12thman.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6914Never seen her play though. I don't know, but maybe she's another candidate to emerge as a standout libero? Will be interesting to follow.

Wikepedia has an extensive and detailed resume of awards, international tournaments, etc. for Camila Gomez. I agree, she will be fun to watch, especially against Curry and Kentucky, which has needed five sets already the last two years against Texas A&M with Houser at libero. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camila_G%C3%B3mez

Per the Transfers thread, it seems like Gwyn Jones’s name is officially in the portal. Seems like the speculation was correct.

I’m sure there are many more to come.
December & April will probably be the times the transfer thread heats up in the new world order. Maybe summer to some extent.
Tough call for coaches...rush to fill a slot for spring and having the athlete in a new system for spring versus just fall camp...or wait for the best athlete available later in the process.

January too. Coaches can pull scholarships at the end of the semester if a kid puts their name in the portal. If you wait until January, your scholarship is guaranteed for the rest of the academic year.

Where can people see which players have announced their intention to transfer? Their instagram or twitter accounts or the vt transfer thread. The portal mentioned on here is for coaches' eyes only.

On the contrary, I don't see Gwen Jones' name in the transfer portal? could that be because she's already transferred to Marquette as reported in the transfer thread? I have no idea, but if the transfer is decided, would she still show up in the portal?
