Great effort again by miss state, but like yogi berra once said โitโs like Deja vue all over again โ. Middles, setter & right side are much improved over last year. Opposites still struggle due to poor passing resulting in too many OOS situations. Weโre missing Zgunda and Murr who are injured and not playing. Minshew is probably our best bet as a six rotation player. She will only get better with time. I originally thought weโd win 4 matches this year. Still think the possibility exists with a win over Tennessee and a couple of wins with Auburn. Go Dawgs!!! Stay positive! I hope they do too!

I think it is time to add Ole Miss to the tier 2 list and drop Missouri from tier 1 to 2. Kentucky and Florida Then maybe 6-7 teams in tier 2 which Ole Miss is ahead of with their wins against Missouri and Tennessee already

Is she out for a while?

Is she out for a while? She sprained her ankle against TAMU last Sunday. She had a boot on last night but she was standing and being animated, so I imagine she will be back before too long. I have not heard official word on the severity though so... Mizzou certainly could have used her last night vs Ole Miss.

Maybe Hall should have rested her ankles, cause in the end it didn't translate to a W. Ouch.

P.S. And for the record, I was very disappointed in that Gator's loss.

I still think Mizzou is a tier 1 team even after the loss. They had an uncharacteristically bad night, obviously. Dillon just isnโt good enough to pick up the production, and more importantly blocking that Omazic brings to the table. LMM also had a terrible night. Not sure what was up there, she hit negative on plenty of attempts and was getting roofed when she had one on ones. Fuentes was setting doubles and that also never happens. Also credit to Ole Miss, they played lights out and thatโs how upsets happen. If Mizzou could just develop some consistency I think theyโre the best team in the SEC without question. Until that happens losses like Hawaii and Ole Miss will keep occurring.

To sprain one ankle, Ms. Hall, may be regarded as a misfortune; to sprain both looks like carelessness. ---- If Lady Bracknell were a volleyball fan.
