Hammons stepped up big time at the end of the season, does ceaser take her spot? I would be surprised if she did. It will be close. Ceasar is the real deal when motivated! Has she been cleared to play next year? She may play a 3OH rotation

Just saying She apparently has put a lot of time into [recruiting] Ceasar as well!!! That Ceasar intro video tells me all I need to know. T will be 1a or 1b at worst. T’s Touch is 6 inches higher than Hammons and probably 2-3 over Thayer. Be careful what you ask for...you may get it!

There are some concerns in the OH position but nothing I did not think current players could not handle. Just my opinion. It's just not about the on court game that concerns me.

If you’re willing to break rules in order to weaken a conference member than you deserve everything you get!
And if I was a player or parent on said team my trust level of a coach willing to do that type of thing would be Zero going forward.
There...I said it! Enough beating around the bush! Good luck and as always Go Gators!
Next thing we will have in the SEC is illegal contact with recruits disguised as an Open Tryout! Do they enforce any rules?

She may play a 3OH rotation I can see her getting time when our current players are struggling or injury. Mary has put a lot of time in on Hammons. Just saying Wise was pretty quick to pounce on Ceasar when there was blood in the water at Georgia. You think Ceasar is going to transfer to Florida without getting some assurances that she will be on the court, or at minimum it is her job to lose? I don't see Hall or Ceasar not starting at OH if they are healthy. I can see Wise using Hammons as the L and if there was an injury to Hall or Ceasar Hammons could play OH when needed. Similar to Kelly Bates (Wisconsin) who was OH, then L, then when OH went down went back to OH when needed. Hammons was probably Florida's best passer in serve receive during second half of season.

Prisoner is very Wise! [no pun] Is “quick to pounce” the new synonym for illegal contact! If I had subpoena power I could wrap this up for you by supper time!

Got a look at LSU's conference schedule next season....OUCH! Have home/home against Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Alabama, Auburn and Miss St. Once at Tenn, S. Carolina, and Georgia; and once at home against Arkansas, Ole Miss and A&M. Tough schedule!! Well, that's the probable top 3 to play twice, but also a decent likelihood that it's 2 of the bottom 3 to play twice, as well. Still, drawing all three of KY, UF, and MIZ for home-homes is ... unfortunate. And road matches in K-ville and COLA SC is also tough. Prayers up!

And another update, this time to list out the full TAMU recruiting class of six athletes, finally announced on Monday. Looks like the Aggies are going to have a pretty big roster, though they also did announce that Brookah Palmer will graduate and not play volleyball in her final year of eligibility. Thanks to secsportsfan for posting about it in the transfers thread! With only Palmer and Houser graduating it didn't take long for Kuhn to bring in several players that will shake things up, bring the talent level up, and will have an impact in 2019. Rush is a 6'1 super athletic lefty that can also pound the ball. She is #17 on prep's senior aces yet still a bit raw, but I see her starting at RS and having an immediate impact. Rush has all the physical skills of a Jada Burse (Kansas), but is further along skill wise entering college. OH 2 will be a battle between incoming freshman 6'4" Lauren Davis (#94 prep senior aces), CiCi Hecht who is a 5'10 version of Hollan Hans, but might be the best back row player of the OHs, and Jr. 6'2 Samantha Sanders who has played more RS than OH the past two seasons, and Maddie Douglas who has played MB and RS in the past. A&M needs to have a solid and reliable OH2 if they want to move up in the standings. Libero could be another incoming freshman starter in Basham from Louisville Assumption unless 2018 freshman DS Fields keeps improving, but regardless those two should be on the court as the L and DS. It appears there will be six (6) MBs on the roster to compete for playing time with returning starters Jr. 6'3 Patterson and Soph. 6'4 Austin-Roark, along with Jr. 6'4 Morgan Davis, Sr. 6'3 Sydnye Fields, Soph. 6'3 Mallory Talbert, and incoming freshman 6'1 Madison Bowser who is a quick and has big hops. If Kuhn can get some of the freshman hitting the ground running I could see 3 freshman starters in the 2019 line up, and for the second year in a row only have 1 senior as a starter. OH1 - Hans Sr. (no brainer) OH2 - Hecht or Davis Frosh. MB1 - Austin-Roark So. MB2 - Patterson Jr. RS - Rush Frosh. S - Conners Jr. L - Basham Frosh DS - Fields So. Unless they have a couple players transfer or retire they will have a 22 players on the roster and that's a lot of players fighting for reps during practice. 3 setters 6 MB 6 pins 7 DS (1 DS is listed as OH but played a couple set at OH with no Kills, and several sets as DS)
